Great food and excellent service. We stopped on our way back from Raleigh and this place is definitely a gem . The flavors are second to none in everything we tried tonight. Highly recommend.

We made a very late reservation for eight people at 9:45 PM on a Friday for a Post high school graduation dinner. There aren't many places around who would accommodate a party that large that late, but downtown Grill did. And without any complaints, or warnings that the kitchen was about to close, or any frustration at all, the service was gracious, flawless, the food was delicious. Highly recommended!

Harrison and Brian are murdering the Winston-Salem food scene! By far one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The grilled octopus was quite tasty, very well thought out, and executed. My friend and I shared a grilled Caesar salad, also fire. The picanha steak was perfectly cooked and very well seasoned. I definitely picked up Indian Or Moroccan vibes off of it, and the chimichurri tied it all together perfectly. I had to accompany this with some crispy frites. Legitimately some of the best fries I've ever put into my mouth. But nothing prepared me for the decadent flourless chocolate torte with homemade strawberry ice cream. It was under sauced with what appeared to be a tart strawberry coulis and sprinkled with crunchy cocoa nibs. (Thanks, seriously) I would like to give the experience 5 stars. Keep up the good work!

This was my first dining experience at the Downtown Grille. From the moment you enter the door, until the time you left, it was a great experience. The service, the food, and the design of the restaurant are wonderful. It is very obvious that the people working there and enjoy their job. The noise level was a little bit more than I would have liked, but you got used to it. I highly recommend this restaurant, I feel it was a great find.

Downtown Grille is excellent. We were there on a Thursday evening and enjoyed every minute. Service was great and the food is spot on. This was our first visit and we will definitely be returning. The wine list is extensive with a wide range in pricing. Wine by the glass is responsibly priced. Cheers!

Chef Harrison and the entire team are providing amazing food served by incredible service in an exquisitely designed and well thought out space. The locally sourced ingredients are amply spread throughout the entire menu prepared with excellent care and cooking. This restaurant is a local gem.

Great experience. Atmosphere was very pleasant. Are served was funny and attentive. The food was great. The octopus was a little tough but still good. The pasta was fantastic.

Ordered medium rare steak that came out well done. Was there for 2.5 hours it took so long for the food to come out room temperature and overcooked steak. Ended up with a steak in a to go box because after 2.5 hours it was time to relieve our babysitter. Great waiter.

Regardless, this is no reason why your entree should have been overcooked nor taken as much time to come to your table.
