Beautiful restaurant to celebrate Mother's Day. It feels fancy enough to dress up a little but casual enough that you feel relaxed. Plus the aquariums were such a great treat for everyone at the table, especially the 4 and 6 year old children in our group. They were entertained throughout the entire meal and it kept them interested enough that they behaved the entire time! 10/10 would recommend!

We started with good service and once our server made an error it was all down hill. We were abandoned and had to go find someone for sauces. There were many servers congregating all in a side room, which I can assume is where they do things like get drinks and check out but it was a bunch of people chatting a laughing. Very disappointing.

We were running late for our reservation secondary to flight delays. I called and the hostess was so friendly and helpful. When we arrived at the restaurant- they were so accommodating. We were so fortunate to have Stanley “Stan” as our server. He was amazing and so pleasant. The epitome of hospitality- even though it was late - he was phenomenal. Service like this is hard to find these days!!!

the food was good and watching the fish swim was very beautiful, but the waitress was very slow with entire dinner process and no checking after food came for drinks or seeing if you needed anything else , until the very end and brought the check , service must be more attentive

I ordered shrimp tacos with fries. They brought me fish tacos with beans and rice. I let them know about the wrong order. I waited 20 additional minutes compared to my family I was dining with. When the bill arrived they charged me for both the fish tacos and shrimp tacos.

The day was perfect. Our waiter wasn’t doing a very good job of listening he constantly brought things we didn’t order but would say ok I will fix it but completely forgot again. He basically can’t handle a lot of tables with large groups. I was still charged for items even though they weren’t asked for. I paid it and wished him well. The ambiance was nice, food was great as always. Just needed better service.

Great! This was my second trip and this time I took my daughter and god son! They enjoyed every minute! My server was great as well!

It was a great place for lunch. Food was good, the look of the restaurant was very nice and people were friendly and helpful. The aquarium overall is very expensive and borderline worth it, but it was a good overall day with family.

Awesome place for a nice dinner. Kevin our waiter was amazing. I personally had the paella and it was yummy. Would definitely recommend this restaurant

Great atmosphere. Great for kids but I would say for a romantic date maybe it’s a bit loud with kiddos running around. We came for my daughter’s birthday so it was perfect and the service was great! We would definitely make the trip again for a special event.

Houston aquarium is a great place for family celebrations! We had grandson’s third birthday there & when he turned 21, he wanted his birthday lunch there again. Granddaughter had her 23rd family birthday lunch there. Wonderful, relaxing atmosphere, always good food & friendly, competent staff.

The Food Was Delicious And The Service Was Impeccable....From Hostess, Til We Were Seated. Everyone Was So Welcoming And Nice. My Waiter, Brian, Was Very Attentive And Interacted With My Daughter And My Niece. He Made Our Day That Much Special.

We reserved a table for Easter brunch at the Houston Aquarium. I don't know if the brunch buffet was available on the 2nd floor but our table was on the 3rd floor a boring conference-like room so no aquarium view. Apparently they planned exact seating for each reservation so we were led to a table with a number that matched our reservation - not our name, a number that was left on the table the whole time. So my thing is breakfast food and they simply dropped the ball there... waffles are soggy even when freshly cooked (too much oil in the batter? pancake batter? waffle iron not hot?), no hash browns or hashbrown casserole, (they instead served the worst kind of frozen home fries). The bacon and sausage were pre-cooked long before we arrived and were barely warm. The sausage was a kick in the teeth covered in sugar (probably maple syrup). I would not have taken any if the sign had described the sausage - a manager, of course, said she would update the handwritten chalk marker sign but she never did. Coffee was only available in small pre-poured cups - no top offs or refills at the table. The other brunch type offerings were okay but I wasn't really there for buffet chicken - I like breakfast food! We were there for the first seating so were able to see some of the pretty designs made with fruit but those were gobbled up quickly and not replaced. The food stations were pretty cafeteria standard... thin thin thin slices of mostly fat roast beef and long wait for it, the pasta and omelet cooks added so much oil to the pans that I could hardly think about anything else. I understand they do that because they can easily wipe out the pan between guests and that is just a bummer. All and all, I think it would have been easier and yummier to have just made a reservation for a typical brunch cafe so I could get eggs benedict. There was a jazz musician and singer and cajun pasta so I guess the idea was a New Orleans style brunch? Was anything but.

We love going to Aquarium restaurant and everything is always perfect. Due to my disability, I know to make reservations. We were seated in less than 5 minutes and greeted by our server as quickly. He was very punctual and accommodating. Food was impecable as we’re accustomed to. A GREAT place to eat, lunch or dinner. We’ve eaten on the patio before also.

The restaurant was nice but the park needs some renovations!! The train was very squeaky and sound system kept cutting out, did not hear half of the presentation. Carousel rides was very wobbly, need to update the riding animals Wash area in sting ray tank was not the best, no paper towels and dryers broken… gift shop was tiny so very packed so hard to get around with people going in to see tigers instead of walking through whole exhibit.. need to update fish tanks, not much to see, some tanks empty. We could not use gift cards online so had to wait to get tickets so of course there was a large line… overall, needs a refresh badly!

Great place! Took my daughter here for her 17th birthday last night and she loved it. The staff and the food were amazing and the aquariums were all beautiful! Even though the place was packed, we were taken very good care of.

Good experience with the restaurant. Food was good and served quickly. -had to wait about fifteen minutes for our table;but, it was Spring Break. -nice variety of the menu and great atmosphere!

We had a great experience. Our party of 4 was promptly seated upon arrival. We ordered steak, pasta, seafood platter, and burger. Everything was delicious. Our server Kevin was great. He took our order and offered suggestions for dessert. Overall, we highly recommended the Aquarium.
