Double zero flour is ideal for pizza dough for three reasons: it's finely ground. It holds up to the high heat of our wood burning brick oven. It has a lower gluten content than most flours. Second time there. We had couple of salads and the truffle cashew cream pizza. Everything tasted perfect. Our host Sha recommended the blood orange spritzer and it was delicious. Definitely going back to try more dishes.

Our server Marco was amazing & so was the host !!! The food is always made to perfection. We did the pepperoni pizza & my favorite, the cacio e pepe. This is definitely one of the best plant based restaurants in nyc 🤍 Always a good experience, highly recommend.

We love this restaurant and have been coming here ever since it opened about eight years ago; the quality of the food however seems to have gone down. One of our pizzas was absolutely inedible. The flavor combination was awful (squash blossom). Our amazing server took it back without even blinking and eye and gave us another choice. Unfortunately, overall the taste was lackluster for the pizzas. The cacio e pepe pasta, however, was amazing as always. Sadly, not sure if we will return.

Definitely going back. Staff are kind and helpful. Pizza was one of the best. Salad was great. Will become a regular there in the near future you try the rest of their dishes.

The vegan pizza at Double Zero was delightful. My group of five ordered four different pizzas to share each was delicious and plenty to go around. We ordered the vegan cesar salad as an appetizer and that was wonderful - very fresh and lighter than a traditional cesar salad. We also ordered the vegan meatballs made with quinoa and they were tasty. The wait staff was very attentive throughout the meal. Nice list of wines to accompany dinner. Truly a gem in the East Village. We look forward to returning.

This is the third time we've ordered from this restaurant - twice via delivery and once more in person because we desperately wanted to like this place, especially for someone who needs to eat vegan gluten free options. But our in-person experience confirmed our earlier impressions; the food was nearly inedible - completely soggy pizza with old, sour vegetables and a salad that was brown around all the edges. Great concept, but has failed to deliver three times now and we will not give them another chance.

I’ve been coming here for years and the food is great. This visit was terrible. We had a reservation. Arrived on time. Waited for anyone to acknowledge us. And then were told there was basically no room for us because “a large party is coming.” The staff member was really rude and unprofessional. So disappointed. We went next door to Bar Verde where the service was excellent. Same owner but wildly different experience.

Best dish by far is the pizza Eggplant dish was like a mess of too many ingredients mixed together . Pasta Caicos Pepe was pretty good Basically no service at all . Took forever to get service …the server didn’t speak English and we poured at our wine for the most part

The double zero flour in the pizza dough is light, delicious and melts into divine bite flavor. We ordered eggplant parmesan and a chopped salad in addition to pizza and it was superb....and i don't ever use that word. Best vegan food on one collective menu that I've ever tasted. Also ordered the chocolate cake and ice cream...light and such a great finish to the meal. Flying dog beer was great with the pizza. Highly recommend this choice of places to eat in the east village, not that far from Tribeca where we were staying. Will definitely eat there again.

Delicious food, great drinks and a wonderful space in the East Village. Table service was the only detraction. It was difficult to get any of the servers attention to order, get follow-up and to get the check. Other than that, excellent.

Strawberry Spritzer cocktail is sweet and delicious. The gluten free pesto pizza is pure deliciousness. I was surprised at how large is the pizza serving. Definitely enough for two people. At night near closing time if you’re eating outdoors it is loud when the staff starts to remove the street dining area. We moved inside where it was quiet and not crowded.

I was so sad to see that Double Zero brought plastic straws back! Why???? I thought we loved sea turtles. :( I love the pizza and the service and the great drinks, but also consider environmental impact and commitment to sustainability when I visit restaurants. It IS vegan, so that's a huge plus but if they could go plastic free, that'd be even better!

The menu options had us hooked from the start. We were a group of seven and enjoyed outdoor dining. We ordered pizzas, Mac & cheese, eggplant parm, Pappardella bolognese and salad. Everyone was extremely happy with everything. We have a picky 4 year old and she loved the Margherita pizza. Can’t wait to return!
