When you claim that you’re adding a signature steakhouse experience, every detail has to be considered to transform you from the stresses of business and life.

The décor is modern, but not pretentious. The ambiance is sophisticated and multisensory, yet comfortable. The staff is educated, but not showy. The uniforms are unique, but classically tasteful.

Like the restaurant itself, the menu departs from a classic steakhouse without chasing away traditionalists. Categories range from classic steaks and chops to seafood – including lobster tail.

Everything from the live music to the food was absolutely outstanding! Our waiter Marks was phenomenal and was the exact image of an amazing waiter. Food was nothing short of extraordinary and the prices were decent for its quality. Restaurant was filled and it was obvious why. Would hands down come back.

The food was mediocre. We had the twin lobster that was very salty and tough. The pistachio pasta was very dry. We had some other dishes but these two were disappointing considering the price paid.

Not impressed with the steak, the server did not offer to see us cut it to see if it was cooked right, not worth the money. Also I requested a dessert for the birthday we were celebrating and it was never brought it. I wasn’t impressed with service or food quality. Not worth the money.

The drinks, appetizers and sides were good. However, we ordered the $110 ribeye (cooked medium) and it was extremely chewy and lacked flavor. We were very disappointed and will not be going back.

Was not impressed by the food’s quality. The steaks were dry and overcooked. The kids steak was also overcooked and burnt. I would prefer to make my own steak. We are frequent customers at Perry’s steakhouse and they blow this place out of the water. Sorry for the sad review, I would not eat there again.

Party of 5 and we were blessed to be seated with Baston. He is a great server and very engaging at the table. Never waited for anything. Great recommendations and agreed with my choice on the wagyu strip as this was also his favorite. Added the lobster tail at a reasonable price. Also got to pair this with their current Wagner family wines wine flight. Both my boys, wife, and her boss were all very happy when we left. We ordered two cremebrulees even though our server told us they were huge. They were also delicious!!

We had our anniversary dinner at DoubleCut Steakhouse. It was our first visit there. The atmosphere, service, and quality were great. Our server Ender provided exceptional customer service. And pleasantly surprised us with an anniversary treat. Thank you Ender for great customer service

The food was some of the best food we’ve had. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sides were fantastic. Mark was a wonderful server and made the experience even more enjoyable.

I can say it’s a very nice place. I am a fan of the ambience of a place and I rather enjoyed it. The food was enjoyable and the entire body that works their were all courteous, pleasant, and welcoming I will be going back

Amazing food and amazing service. Pretty pricy. Expect to spend around $100+ a person. Had a filet mignon with the truffle fires and Brussel sprouts. It was so delicious.

We decided to sit at the bar. We were the ONLY customers there. Three bartenders were behind the bar. It was the WORST service we've ever had. They pretty much ignored us. So we ate some apps and decided not to give them any more of our money and left. We won't be returning.

Tawny was an awesome server. Everything was great, shisheto peppers, hash browns, pork chops, bread pudding. I'm from out of town, but would come back. The portions were humongous 😋🤤😋

The vibe of the restaurant was nice, off to a good start. The waitress was fine, not as friendly as we were used to but she did her job. They were very concerned about the onion allergy we had, we appreciate them taking that seriously as not all places do - thank you. We ordered two filets (medium rare), one with bearnaise and one with au poive. Got mashed potatoes as a side. We cut into the filets, and in the center they were medium at best. All of the outside cuts were grey and dead. The bearnaise tasted like a weird sour mayo. For the au poive, I expected the cognac sauce with the peppercorn like all steakhouses but I did not get that. I essentially got Chicago style, just a hard sear crust. Usually if it's close to medium we're fine just eating it, but seeing as this was nearly dead we asked for a remake. They brought it out relatively quickly, and unfortunately it was pretty much blue rare. We didn't want to wait any longer because usually with places like these, they won't ever get the cook corrected. So we ate what we could and saved the rest, see picture. They ended up making some semblance of an au poive sauce, which I appreciated. Overall, I'm very surprised they had such high reviews, and hopefully we were just a one off night... But I'll certainly not be going back to test if that's the case. I never expect to be compensated in these situations, but at these higher end steakhouses, it's almost a given if something like this happens. This was a $250 meal, and a very disappointing one at best. If you're a steakhouse foody, I'd stay away.

Steak was under cooked and sent back. Second pepper steak was over salted and sent back. Came out rare when asked for medium the second time. Service left drinks at bar for 10-15 minutes

Bad choice for date night unbelievable slow service. Over price food not what upscale dining should be call at all. This is not a true Steakhouse would not recommend for fine dining. Over price fast food!

Horrible experience got there at 9 for reservation sat at 9:20 ordered immediately and waited about an hour before we started getting anzy with no food yet! 10:30-10:45 rolls around and we decide to get up and leave I did offer to pay for what we had ordered (drinks and bread) but they didn’t accept for me to pay reasonable but the rest was a horrible experience. First time visiting definitely not going back.

We reserved and asked that a special cup cake for my daughter’s 15 th Birthday. They did not do anything and the food took forever. The only great thing was the waitress Carol who was awesome.

Very good! My biggest drawback is that it is either too dark in the back room or too loud in the front half (live music was going). We had the pork chop, garlic shrimp, and pesto linguini with shrimp. Started off with the delicious bread and the hanging bacon (still drooling from that). We shared the fried Brussel sprouts and sautéed mushrooms and both were Devine.

Tawny was our server and she was amazing! We loved that they had our favorite wine, Cakebread Cab! The shishito peppers had a burnt taste to it so not my fave but the steak was delicious and so were our sides! Amazing truffle fries with a tasty aioli.

Had high hopes for Double cut Steakhouse, it’s the only restaurant we haven’t dined at in all the times we’ve been to Kalahari. Service was extremely slow, our food and drinks took forever, the Wagyu steak we ordered and the prime rib we ordered took an hour to be delivered and then was cold and just poorly prepared. Kids Mac and cheese took over an hour and the macaroni was hard and poorly prepared. The only meal I’ve spent over $300 on and regretted almost all of it, the only enjoyable part of the experience was my Cherry Smoked Old Fashioned, I ordered a second one and the waitress forgot about it, so I had to cancel it. Very disappointing.

Nothing special, steak had no flavor, overpriced for the taste, but large sharable portion. The service was excellent, staff was friendly, don't plan on dropping in a reservation is required, which is a major disappointment when you are on vacation.

Musician entertainment with couches to sit and enjoy. Our young granddaughters, 5 & 8 enjoyed sitting and listening. Our waiter was attentive and the children’s menu had plenty of options. Served a great smoked old fashion.

The quality at this restaurant has significantly gone down. The good first, the hanging bacon, crab cakes, garlic mash potatoes, Brussels sprouts and creamed spinach were amazing. However the drinks, burnt briskets ends, and steaks were not good. We did not eat most of our food and my spouse sent his Wagyu steak back twice (over cooked and then significantly under cooked). Our waitress, Annabelle, made a comment about us not being hungry when she picked up plates with almost full steaks still on them, not realizing we were unhappy with our food. Very disappointing, especially for the price to we paid. We will not be back.

Our waitress Tawney was great. She was very attentive. Food was delicious. Best steak I’ve ever had. I loved that they brought out my kids food before mine. Sushi was the only thing I didn’t like. But the dessert was amazing also. Best place to eat at the kalahari for sure.
