It was slow service for the whole meal but when we asked for the check he too 15 min to bring it and then disappeared for 15 minutes and again shen he took our CC he was gone for 15 min

We had the California burger and rotisserie chicken Cobb salad. Both very good. Service was a bit slow as restaurant was packed on a Friday night at Happy Hour

First of all, the woman who was our server (I'm really sorry I don't remember her name) was fantastic! She was warm, energetic and quite funny! She checked in with us during our meal to see if we needed anything; she was the best! Our food was delicious; I had a Caesar salad and walleye fingers for my meal...so good.

I’ve enjoyed going to Doolittles for over 20 years and love their menu. Now I am disappointed in their salads. They have way too many greens and too little substance such as chicken and whatever else comes on the salad and the prices keep going up up.

Salmon and Ribeye were good. Salad with chicken came without chicken but the waiter brought it when we pointed it out. Ribs, their specialty, were dry. Service was friendly and attentive.

We come to this restaurant a lot and always have great food and service. The Brussel Sprouts were not done and the Pears in the salad were not ripe.

Service was friendly and efficient. Tables, however, were too close together and some chairs backed up against adjoining seating. Expected more from a wood-fire grill place. Barbeque ribs and chicken were disappointing.

Well, we were there a few weeks ago and my review was not kind as they pretty much failed on all counts. However, since that was clearly not the norm for them since we have been coming here for years, we went back for dinner. As I hoped and suspected, it was a glitch in the flow. The food was great, service friendly and prompt and their 1/2 priced bottles of wine on Mondays a good value as you can take home what you don’t finish. Way to go Doolittle’s! I am so glad it was just a blip!

My friends and I love Dolittles, it is always good food, good service but this time the noise level was over the top, we had a group of people next to us that we could barely hear each other and apparently some of the servers must have known them as the joined in in the chaos.

For the first time in years we had a near bust on our dining experience. Burger was dry, service slow and our server never cracked a smile or acted as if she gave a hoot. My quinoa squash salad had too much dressing and the squash was almost cooked. Now notice I said the first time in years so we will not throw in the towel but I was surprised and disappointed at the overall evening.

My friend got to the restaurant about 15 minutes earlier than our reservation and they refused to seat her. Told her she could stand and wait. The restaurant was NOT busy and she noticed other people were sitting waiting for their group to arrive. She was very upset and they finally did seat her but she was upset and they did not apologize for the rudeness of the host. We almost left!

Would have gotten five stars, but I didn’t get two things I asked for twice. And the waitress disappeared for like 25 minutes each time. And barely checked on us.

I think they could not keep upo with valentines' day. With a reservation, there was almost an hour wait. We have been there several times before and usually get seated right away.

Since we did book on Valentine’s Day they were super busy. We had reservations for 6:30 and didn’t get seated till 7. But overall it was a very good experience once we got to the table. Food and drinks were delicious. I would definitely go back.

Something was wrong with the chicken wild rice soup. I ordered it and we all tried it and it tasted like water instead of soup broth. But I love our server Samantha.

The ribeye was tough, tasteless and more rare than the medium rare I had requested. Work in the industry so know the cut of meat isn’t always predictable. Also know to never return steak. It was better the next day, cooked more with steak sauce. Other than that everything was good.

Server was very good but the food was just ok. The chicken wings were great but the hanger steak and ribs and salad we ordered were nothing special. We won't b going back.

The wood fired meats are wonderful. The menu has a nice variety and it’s not crazy loud like most of the new places. It was nice to have a conversation without yelling.

We went early dinner on New Years day. It was fairly quiet and slow when we got there but picked up by the time we left. Food portions seemed smaller than we thought they would be but taste of food was very good.

This is a reasonably priced suburban dining spot. It always meets my expectations. The food is good not fabulous. The ambience comfortable. The service welcoming. We like the restaurant.

Starting at the front door the staff was friendly and awake. Staff took our drink orders and again friendly and knowledgeable. Staff took our food orders and the food was delivered. Again the staff was great and the food was very good.

We love Doolittles but this visit was a little disappointing. My husband and I both ordered ribs and they were tough to even cut with a knife. Our server, Octavia, was outstanding and friendly.

There were 7 of us, all senior citizens. Our waiter was extremely patient with us and welcoming. Food was great as well! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at GV Doolittle’s.
