Located in the back of Don’s Grocery & Liquor is the former Don’s Diner now turned speakeasy. Disguised as a TV repair shop we welcome you to come grab some drinks and TV Dinners. Serving Boozy Shakes and Retro-Cocktails. We are in the business of repairing the need for a good drink and a great burger! In our effort to keep providing enjoyable experiences we are taking necessary steps for health safety. We want to ensure the health safety of our staff and guests each night.

Reservations recommended, walk-ins are accommodated with limited seating. Call Ahead for Large Parties 7+ or join the waitlist here on OpenTable!

Fun place to go for something different. The drinks were good and very fun as was the atmosphere. The food was average but the server was slow and wasn't too enthusiastic. It's a great place to go once to check out.

Made reservations ahead of time and got worse seating then the person who was just a walk-in. We had the waitress with black hair and she came to our table to take our order and bring us our first drink order then never saw her again. When she brought the drinks out she spilled the drink on me and gave a monotone sorry after I said ope from the spill. Someone else brought our food and had to bring us more drinks. Bartender was great and very friendly and so was the waiter that brought us our food and drinks.

Birthday celebration. Made birthday guest feel special with the yummy donut holes covered in whipped cream and topped with a lit candle! The drinks were amazing! Food was top notch! Even have gluten free buns for the burgers! Very conscientious regarding the dietary needs! Thank you! We will be back!

The staff was amazing, made preparations to accommodate out large party last minute. We were seated immediately upon arrival. Our server was attentive and friendly. The food was prepared in a timely manner. We will definitely be going back!

I’ve always ordered to go so this time, I was able to dine in with a friend. Such a cool, almost speak easy style restaurant with a funky vibe interior and a password to boot! Delicious fare, with a simple menu and drinks but just so dang yummy! A must try in the Fifth Ward, an up and coming neighborhood south of downtown MKE!

Had reservations for five people at 8:15 last night. Got there at 8:10 and they refused to seat us at a table, only the bar. There were SIX open four-tops. When we asked about them we were told they were already reserved, though nobody occupied them and at 8:30, the staff began putting chairs on the tables and cleaning up. POOR service and likely will not return.

It was a fun experience. Very nostalgic. The milkshakes were delicious. I had a spicy chicken sandwich which was a little tough . They brought out the sides we ordered before the meal, we would have preferred them with the meal. Other than that we enjoyed it and will probably be back.

We had a blast! Being Gen Xers we were in our element and were thrown back to our teenage years. The food was excellent and flavorful. We especially loved the fries and veggie burrito. The shakes were amazing and my Bomb Pop cocktail was made well. They even have pull tabs! We will be back with a larger group. Again and again. So fun!

I ordered the buttermilk chicken breast sandwich. And I have to be very honest and say that is not worth the price. The chicken was pound down so thin that in place as there is no chicken just breading. And since it doesn’t come with any sides whatsoever; It makes it especially expensive. I would not go back for food. Drinks were very good. But the food needs help. It’s time to no longer rest on its laurels. And give the patrons something worth the price that they are charging.

Took my family of four (spouse, 2yo, and 8month baby) here and had a blast. The food was fantastic, it was busy on a Sunday for brunch, service was a little slow but not unreasonably so. The atmosphere was fantastic and made me nostalgic for my 90’s childhood gaming days. Definitely will make it back here again.

Probably going to sound like a Karen... Food was... Fine. Service was poor. Waiter didn't come to our table once after taking our order. Couldn't get a drink to save my life. Wasn't busy, no excuse.

Once again Don's did not disappoint! Our waitress was amazing and the food was delicious!! We even got a free treat since we were celebrating our 1 year anniversary. Next time we are coming early to play some of the games in the store (if we can) before our reservations.

This place has such a great vibe! Love the music and the staff was amazing in helping me surprise my husband by seating us in a perfect location for his college roommate to surprise him for his birthday. Bloody Mary’s and food were great too!

We made reservations, had to wait and were put in back room that seem to be unfinished bar area. Was super disappointing since we brought our granddaughter to celebrate her birthday and basically just sat in dark room thrown together and not made to look like rest of restaurant So disappointed

Food was okay...burgers were small. The sides were good. The shakes were good but half of it was filled with whip cream so definitely a rip off since some of them were $15! The hype for this place wasn't what it was made out to be. Not sure I will go back.

Food was not nearly worth the price paid. Bad quality ingredients and most likely entirely frozen or processed. They recently got rid of all their lettuce and multiple dishes on the old menu to cut costs. Service was as poor as the food was. Our waitress left for 30 or 40 minutes despite the restaurant not being busy. I would not recommend going here given the current state of Don's. It seems that this place has already seen it's heyday and has been on the decline.

Didn’t receive the experience of going in through the secret front door and guessing the password to be let in, was escorted to enter through the back door which should have been our entrance to leave out of.

Amazing food and service! I ended up needing to add 2 more to our reservation and even though they were fully booked they made it work! 1 thing they forgot was I stated we were celebrating 2 birthdays. But still had a great experience!

The speakeasy vibe was cute. I think the adults appreciated the ambience of the place more than the kids. While the adults enjoyed the old tv's, the VCR tapes/movies, and he memorabilia, the kids weren't as impressed. Between all of us we had burgers, burritos, fries, cheesy tots, a strawberry shake, an old-fashioned and the bathtub mimosa drink. The shake was great! The other drinks were served cute, but just ok as far as taste. All of our food was very good and our server was attentive as well. If you're looking for something different, it's a cute place to visit but don't know that it's worth going out of your way for. Not sure it's necessarily a place we'd feel the need to visit again.

I like the fact that Don's has a limited menu when it comes to food. The drink menu has so many options. I love the TV/Old School vibe. Wait staff is very friendly and accommodating. Great place to have a meal with friends.
