We had a 6:15 reservation got there a little after & seated immediately. Our server was great & the food was very good. Shared guacamole starter. Baja fish tacos were delicious. Friend had the chicken enchiladas and liked them a lot. My challenge is the end of the dinner. We had paid our bill & friend needed to use the restroom. It is now 7:30. Hostess approaches my table and proceeds to tell me that there is a 7:30 reservation waiting for this table. Seriously?! I said you give a little over an hour to eat? She tells me they are very busy and need the table. Again, seriously?!! She walks away, my friend returns. I share what transpired. Also taken a back. As we’re leaving, I approach the hostess & tell her what she did was incredibly rude & put a negative on what was good dinner. Shameful behavior. I’ll never return nor recommend.

The restaurant is just off the riverwalk and in a nice area (not too crazy). The service was very attentive and quick, looking for ways to go above and beyond. The food was well presented and tasted phenomenal. We had the short rib (fantastic, highly recommend), elote (great with a kick), and cornbread (so good). Our drinks were beautiful and great tasting as well.

This was our first time in San Antonio experiencing the River Walk. I highly recommend this restaurant! I believe it’s the prettiest ambiance on the River Walk. We enjoyed happy hour then transitioned to dinner. The food and drinks were great. Very clean. Service was excellent.

Came in for a quick bite and a cocktail. The Short Rib Quesadillas are outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed the Jalisco Standoff, as well.

We wanted to love this restaurant based on reviews, but we found the food just so-so (except the delicious chips and corn). Beautiful outside area on the Riverwalk though the seating wasn’t really comfortable. If you select to dine inside, prepare for it be quite dark. The highlights were the terrific server, the grilled corn appetizer and chips, and the ambiance of the location watching the boats and people go by. I give it only 3 stars because none of the 3 people in my party loved their entrees which was disappointing for the price.

Used to be our fav place, the food has changed. Poor presentation, poor service. Understaffed. I always order the fish and it has gone down in the size of the portion. We did wait 45 min for food. Drinks were quick but served in plastic (waitress kept apologizing). Strange experience for premium pricing. I would not go back
