All aboard the Dolly Varden. We are a two story cocktail bar and restaurant in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen. The “Bar Car” will specializes in shared plates and experiential cocktails. The second floor “Dolly’s Club” will offer playful twists on classic American fare such as our Saigon wings, truffle mac and cheese and our Rail Car burger.     We went here before the theatre. Two of us ordered the buttermilk chicken sandwich. It should have been amazing, but there were 2 pieces of thick chicken and you can't get your mouth around the whole thing to take a bite and taste all the flavors together. Had to eat it with a knife and fork. Seating is not very comfortable and the chairs are too low so the table seems high.

    Our server forgot my iced tea. After several reminders over 35 minutes I was told that they don't have iced tea so they were steeping a hot tea for me. I was almost done with my entree by the time my drink came. They were out of chicken wings at 6:00 on a Sunday. The bao buns tasted like they were microwaved. The chicken bites were dark meat (not indicated as such on the menu) and were over-fried and hard. The steak frites was not sliced and was very fatty. We ordered truffle fries and they brought regular fries. Overall, we were not impressed with the meal or the service. Will not be returning.

    Nice spot, food was all very good. Service and ambience were solid nothing to write home about but friendly and clean. Server was a bit on the slow end especially with it being not overly busy is my only real complaint. Would def go back

    Very pleasant place for a pre-theater lunch or dinner! Something for everyone on the menu, and it's all very good.

    We had a lovely experience! We got a separate room for our large party but it did feel we were forgotten about in there at times. Great food and vibes.

    The chicken sandwich was amazing! Also very good salmon, the ceasar was good but had too many bread crumbs.
