Located in the heart of Downtown Portland, OR on the bustling corner of SW Alder & SW 12th, Dolly Olive centers around Southern Mediterranean ingredients and flavors, with an emphasis on an in house bakery program, fresh made pastas, and Italian aperitifs. Dolly Olive sports an inviting atmosphere featuring soft leather banquettes, warm wood accents, and custom patterned tiles.

Beyond impressed with chef's menu. We're going to make it out mission to try everything on the menu. The food is a taste bud explosion. The flavors are out of this world. We can't wait to go back! The only bummer was that our server never came back to the table after we ordered dessert and asked for our check. He was nowhere to be found. He was great but we were bummed he never came back so we could thank him for everything. We hope he was on break and that we did not do anything to offend him.

Brunch roast beef hash was tasty and had accents of slightly crisp cabbage. My friends polenta with basil was rich and yummy.

The service was excellent. We had the Arancini, the Beet and Grapefruit Salad, the Potato Cavatelli, Polenta w Mushrooms, and Bucatini. The Potato Cavatelli was a bit smoky for us otherwise we loved all of the other dishes. We even ordered an order of the Bucatini to go. Great food, we’d definitely go back!

Each dish we had was amazing and very unique. The flavor profiles were spot on and I could not find fault with anything. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

This was our first visit to Dolly Olive. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Food was fresh, creative and above all delicious. Service was top notched! We will definitely be coming back.

Food was as described. Service was minimal. Very loud as they filled up especially with kids. Seating is tight. Tables are small considering the amount of food they ask you to order. Understand the concept, not the execution.
