Thank you for choosing Doc Fords! If you do not see your preferred reservation time available please give us a call, we offer limited online reservations but would love to accommodate you. We unfortunately are not able to accommodate same day reservations. Reservations made less than 24 hours in advance may be canceled in our system. Walk-in's are always welcome! (We only accommodate so many reservations to allow more walk ins)

Our outdoor table space is limited. While we will do our best to accommodate specific seating requests for our reservations, please know they are not always guaranteed. If you would prefer a specific seating location, you may be subject to a small wait even with a reservation. Dockage is available on a first come, first serve basis.

For reservations larger than six, please call 727-290-9578. Any parties larger than 10 please email your inquiry to jtreservations@docfords.com. (Deposits may be held depending on number of party).

Dined alone, usually prefer to sit at the bar but that was not offered. Food was very good and affordable for St. Pete.

We had a reservation and noted we were there for my husbands birthday. No one acknowledged his birthday. We sat outside which was beautiful. We ordered the Yucatán shrimp and seafood paella both of our seafood was completely overcooked. When I brought this up to our waitress she said well when I came by and asked how it was you said fine mind you she came by when our food had just been delivered so we didn’t have a good answer yet. We didn’t see her again. I even had to ask another server to get our server to ask for our check. When she brought our check she said I mean I could get my manager if you want. At this point we had waited 20+ mins just to get the check we were over the evening. It was poor service so say the least. I would also like to note we had an 8:15 reservation. They were not at all busy. We drove 30mins to try this place, so disappointed.

The restaurant offers plenty of parking, large open air dining area with water views, or inside cool air conditioning if that is your preference. The menu has many options and the service was attentive. Moreover, the food is well prepared!

Great ambiance and our server, Jennie, was awesome. However, the food was just average at best. Probably will not return because there are so many more local places nearby that have great ambience and service, and “also have great food.”

Somewhat touristy. Initial service was slow, with no one waiting on us for at least 10 minutes. Had to flag someone down. Waiter was good, but service was somewhat slow. Ambiance is nice, with live music, but can be a little noisy depending on where you sit. Food was fresh, but nothing spectacular. I believe the grouper in banana leaf entree was interesting, but sides were just OK. Menu has a lot of choices. I would go again, but mostly for the ambiance and maybe just for drinks and appetizers. However, we didn't try any, but maybe next time.

We had the macadamian crusted grouper for our entrees and the crab cakes for an appetizer. They were both delicious! The sauces were amazing. We got 2 specialty drinks that were very good! The atmosphere was nice. We sat outside with a water view. The waitress was very nice and professional.

I wouldn’t come here for dinner. I could see why people come here for the sunset and that makes a ton of sense. The food is below average and we had a server (Sarah) that was more focused on cleaning up to go home then serving anyone. Do yourself a favor and come here for drinks and take in the view outside but I wouldn’t do more than that.

Cody the manager and our server Zoey were both top notch as well as the food and overall dining experience. They, as well as the Jungle Terrace, come highly recommended. Kudos!
