We present organic vegetarian and vegan fare rooted in the Ayurvedic tradition that meets us where we are today. Cuisines served range from Italian, Indian, Mediterranean and Asian, using Ayurvedic culinary principles to combine the right ingredients to support balance and enjoyment, through familiar yet unexpected dishes.

Some of our most popular dishes include our Lasagna (both a vegetarian and vegan option), Vegetable Curry in Cashew Sauce, Carrot Risotto, Beet Hummus, Soothing Mung Soup, Avocado Toast (on homemade gluten free toast), and more. We also serve a unique Brunch menu with items like Sweet Waffles, Savory Waffles, and Vegetable Pancakes. Our beverages are all homemade everyday like our fresh limeades, shakes, teas and more. Please note we do not serve alcohol.

We are currently serving outdoor/patio dining only during this time for lunch, brunch, and dinner. We look forward to serving you!

As someone with an allium dietary restriction and vegan, I literally cried at the table when I learned I could have almost anything on the menu. The food was AMAZING. This was truly an experience out of a dream.

We were told that they needed the table and that there was a 1.5 hour hold on each reservarion (which we were not told when seated) and then were signing our checks (which took a while to come after they basically kicked us out) and the server or hostess came over again and told us very rudely that they had “active customers waiting for the table.” When I explained that we were simply signing our checks that they had literally just brought, she said with a shocking attitude “Well it’s just that I already asked you once.” My friend and I were horrified to encounter this level of rudeness at such a beautiful restaurant with good intentions.

We love Divyas! I’m sure everything is delicious but I love the vegetable curry so much I just can’t bring myself to order anything else. Five stars!

We live in NJ and there are not enough good vegetarian options so we are always on the lookout for alternatives in NYC. Our search is over, Divya's Kitchen is it! This was not just the best vegetarian/vegan restaurant, it was one of the best meals I've had at any restaurant in a long time. The food was so well prepared and the flavors were so well developed. Nothing better than a warming bowl on a cold day!!

Aidan was a great server. My friend had a lovely time catching up in this laid back and cozy vibe. Highly recommend Divya’s for a nourishing and relaxing meal. I absolutely loved ALL our dishes - minestrone soup, kitchari, rose mousse. Thank you!!

Everything was perfect from the teas and appetizer through dessert. We enjoyed the Chai tea, ginger tea, vegan cheese plate with homemade GF crackers, vegan lasagna, curry vegetables with homemade sauces. For dessert we enjoyed the Carob coconut cake. Would highly recommend for anyone who loves colorful healthy food, and plenty of vegan, vegetarian, GF options. Hope we get the chance to dine here again!

The soothing mung bean soup, quinoa salad, & strawberry parfait were perfect! After every meal at Divya's, the next day I wake up refreshed! Not kidding!

Excellent food, unique menu. I’ve dined indoors and outdoors. Always a great experience. They also sell soup mixes, ghee, recipe books and more! The drinks (non alcohol ) are outstanding

We shared an appetizer of spice coconut chips--yum!! My curry was amazing and my friend enjoyed a beautiful kitchiri--each gorgeous and tasty. Then we shared a sublime chocolate moussse with almonds and rose petals---so very lovely. Try it!

I have been waiting years to return to NYC post pandemic, with full hopes to attend Divyas kitchen. It was everything and more! I suffer from an immune condition which led me to find healing through Ayurveda, and cook regularly from Divyas cookbooks. My entire family loved their meals at the restaurant and no ill tummy or bloating which I usually endure after restaurant dining. I wish I lived closer to visit here regularly. Looking forward to when I can return. Much love and thanks to Divya and her staff!

A charming, imaginative restaurant! Service was helpful and cheerful and prompt. Food was excellent. Desserts are worth the calorie splurge. Ambience is appropriately pleasant, restful. Strongly recommended!

I enjoy Divya's for dinner at the beginning of the week. It gives me energy for the rest of the week; is a pleasant ambiance for a vegan/vegetarian meal. I always feel great the next day and I believe it's the healing power of the food! No matter what day you visit, it's really worth it.
