We are an elevated Mexican restaurant with a beautiful, yet casual atmosphere. Located in a quaint residential area in University City, just steps from Clayton, our tropical oasis awaits you. Our menu is comprised of mostly small plates so you can experience multiple items to satisfy your palate. You can't go wrong with our costra (grilled cheese) tacos, sheetpan nachos, enchiladas or barramundi tacos. Our margaritas and cocktails are made with fresh juice, squeezed in house and only the best ingredients. Relax on our patio, open air or garden dining rooms. We have all day happy hour.

Food is good and the restaurant is pretty however the waitress was awful. She was mad since the beginning of the order. She brought appetizers , no plates, no napkins, no silverware and every fine that ask for something she will get madder. She even talked back to us very rude when we asked for tortillas. Bad waitresses are not good for businesses. Sorry but she was not happy at all.

We've been twice in recent weeks. The ambience is great, the food and drinks good, but the service is poor. We had to ask to order drinks after waiting 15 minutes, only to be told "I need to find out who your server is." The same person returned and said, "Apparently it's me," while scowling. Both times, we had to wave down a server to order food, to get dessert / a second drink and to get our check, each after waiting lengthy periods of time. We were in no hurry, but the attitude and inattention of the serve staff was unsatisfactory.

My husband and I made a reservation for Cinco De Mayo 2024. They were packed! The service was great even though they were very busy. I had the chicken burrito! It was amazing! The drinks were delicious 😋 we will be back next time we pas through St. Louis. Very good. I recommend reservations
