Kenny and Dennis were so amazing and so were the entire staff. The food was so delicious as usual and this was all three of my sister’s first time having dinner here.I love Desi!

I’m a local but this was my first time at Desi Vega’s. I was surprised at how attentive and respectful all the staff was. I never waited on a thing. The ribeye was super good and the fois gras topping was outrageous. Amazing experience all around!

Terrific dining experience. The entrees were plated so beautifully. Brian made our afternoon unforgettable. Top notch service. We will eagerly await our next trip to NOLA to dine at Desi Vega’s again.

Inside is dark i believe for an more intimate experience so that was nice. My server Brian C. was excellent, he got into try crawfish for the first time by getting the Freddie Mac & Cheese dish which was delicious. Very nice and well cooked food. Definitely would come back here whenever I come visit New Orleans again.

Kevin, our waiter, was very attentive. Lucy was there to show support as well. Meal was delicious. The noise level after 6:00 was so loud we couldn’t hear one another. Otherwise it was such a delightful experience and including the pre-dinner drinks at the bar. Keep up the hard work.

Service, attention to detail, food, and drinks were all outstanding! Our waiter Mr. Terrance went above and beyond taking care of us during our evening. The crab cake raviolis was magnificent!

Seafood Mornay appetizer and Lamb Chops were both excellent. Each was prepared properly with excellent flavor. The service was great, several employees kept an eye on everything. The pacing of the meal on a Saturday night was also great, never felt rushed. The interior is open and bright which we liked. Great experience from start to finish.

The filet was absolutely amazing…. I would pass on the stringy onion rings if I had to do it over. The white chocolate bread pudding with Vanilla bean was the best!

We are Warehouse District residents and so thankful to have this 5-star restaurant in our neighborhood. The server team of Kevin, Brittney and Thomas was friendly, professional, and very attentive. Appetizers Tuna Napoleon and Shrimp Remoulade were the perfect segway to our entrees, Ribeye steaks, which were perfectly prepared Medium-rare; and, the add-on Blue Cheese crust was so flavorful. The Orin Swift wine pairing complemented the entire meal, another outstanding dining experience, thank you!

Excellent every time! Our waiter, Dennis, was superb and the third or fourth time he’s taken care of us. Steaks are perfectly prepared, appetizers were awesome, especially the scallops special this evening. Always enjoy Desi Vega’s and look forward to our next time!

The hostess was terrible and unfriendly. Left us waiting for 10 minutes in the hotel vestibule without knowing where to go or which side the restaurant was on of the hotel. It really got our experience started off on the WRONG foot. Thank god the food and servers were excellent to make up for the unfriendly and unaware hostess.

We chose to dine at Desi Vega’s Steakhouse to celebrate our anniversary on Friday evening. Our server, Mona Lisa, was incredible! She was tentative, gave great suggestions on some of her favorite foods, and made sure we had everything we needed. We split a turtle soup for appetizer, each had a steak, creamed spinach and Brussel sprouts. The creamed spinach was my favorite! We were also surprised with an Anniversary dessert! It was delicious!! The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant and everything was clean. Hands down a great experience ❤️

Drinks was amazing and food really good . I'm a Ruth's Chris kind of a guy but they definitely give Ruth's Chris a run for there money. Pricey but worth it.

It’s nice to experience the best table side service in New Orleans. Kevin was our main server and Tre was second in line. We started with a wonderful French Onion soup which was split in the kitchen before delivery to the table. Next was our bone in fillet which was cooked perfectly served on a sizzling plate with just enough butter to enhance and not overwhelm the beef. It’s always nice to see Adrian and the GM who make you feel like family. As we were quietly celebrating our 31st anniversary, someone in the past must have taken excellent notes because our desert was on the house with celebratory words to end our evening. This is one of our favorite places to dine in the City as the staff makes the restaurant feel like home.
