Established in 1837, Delmonico's remains the oldest restaurant in New York City and returns for the fall of 2023. Living in its original building at the intersection of Beaver & William Street in the financial district, Delmonico's holds to be the first dining establishment in America to be called by its French name "Restaurant”. Delicious food and incredible place. The service could have been better. Other than that it was a really special visit

For some reason, my Delmonico cut was a tougher cut of ribeye than I’ve had in the past experiences here. Not sure if it was slightly undercooked from a medium, or I just had a cow that was overworked. Nevertheless, I left disappointed with the steak considering the cost and the signature cut of the steak, eponymously named.

Delmonico's is the best NYC ICONIC steakhouse! Save room for dessert their (BAKED ALASKA) is a must.

Everything I ate was outstanding! The oysters had little citrus pods that bursts in your mouth. The eye steak was flavorful and perfectly tender. The best was sitting in such a beautiful room with music being transported back in time in old NYC. Will be back

The team elevated our experience beyond a simple meal. The artistry of the plates was second only to the flavor. The staff made us feel welcome and comfortable, with a sole focus on serving and finding ways to make our time together memorable. The experience was more than remarkable; it showed what hospitality can be.

The restaurant was exactly what I expected. Spectacular food, including the steak and lobster. We also had baked Alaska, which was very good. The waiters took time to explain dishes, and the diners were the most part dressed elegantly.
