Every dish is prepared to highlight freshness and flavour - tartness from pomegranate, dried lime and barberries, fresh herbs, nuts and seeds, yogurt and aromas of saffron, turmeric, rose, and sumac. Signature sourdough flatbread and crispy rice aka tahdeeg, as well as charcoal-finished chicken and beef, a rotation of vegetables dishes with produce from local farms. Desserts include date and walnut baklava and turmeric cake with orange blossom buttercream and saffron ice cream.

Plates are designed to be shared family style or enjoyed on their own, and are complemented by a curated wine list and unique cocktails

Enjoyed the happy hour menu. We tried every happy menu food item and it was delicious. The drinks were unique and refreshing. We also enjoyed 3 main courses. Great flavours and textures!

Had a business lunch on a Thursday afternoon at 1pm. Not busy. Very good service, the tahini ice-cream milkshake was fresh and tasted great. The lamb shoulder sandwich is really good too

We have been here a couple times and it is always outstanding. I would recommend ordering to share even though the menu isn’t necessarily organized in this manner. Don’t miss the flatbread and enjoy!

I thought the quality of food would be amazing.Lamb shoulder sandwich was cold and not great. Fesenjoon was bitter and not even slightly close to the authentic taste! The kotlet tasted very strange ! Very bad experience, will never return! As a Persian, it was a bad representation of the amazing Persian cuisine.

Thoroughly enjoyed our luncheon. Loved the food. Great flavours. Would have enjoyed the main course even more if food was hotter ( that’s how I like my food) The orange cake was a little on the dry side but good. Would definitely come back.

All the food we ordered was delicious. The menu is not extensive but sufficient. The service was excellent. The food portions were generous. The wine list has many interesting choices although the descriptions used do not list the country of origin and do not describe the wines. The restaurant ambience is airy and well lit; casual for sure; the music was on the loud side - quieter in the section near the windows. We will certainly return and sample more menu items.

We ordered the shortrib stew and we did not feel it was good value for the money. Only a few pieces of meat and some sauce. When we are paying +$100 to eat out, we expect to at least enjoy our meal. it was more of a chore to eat it.

Delicious menu choices, cheery and helpful service (our server was the only one working the whole lunchtime crowd and did a fabulous job). We all went away happy and full.

Our meal was amazing as usual! Our server was so friendly and helpful, and really made our experience that much better. I am sorry I didn’t catch their name but was wearing strawberry earrings :) look forward to coming back to try other items on the menu!

Food was good. Thought the Chicken was a little bland. Beef was excellent. Very good size portions, rice was very nice. In a lot of restaurants The appetisers are quite small. Not here… they are a very generous size. The Sourdough and dips were perfect for 4, the bread was fresh and plentiful. The prices were fair. Our server was very nice and helpful and attentive. Overall a nice experience, this was our first time here and we would go again.

11:15 am reservation for 4. The room was less than 1/4 full. It took almost 20 minutes before our server even addressed us. The food and beverages were all great. The server did not speak to us again until I asked for the bill. We enjoyed the food.

Delicious food! And a great Cocktail menu too. It was a little loud when we got there (children were crying) but it quieted down.

The food here is outstanding and the cuisine is wonderfully Persian, which there isn’t a lot of in Vancouver. Prices are very reasonable, the staff are friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely being going to Delara often!

Great place. Service was attentive. Food was amazing. We had the duck and lamb both cooked perfectly. Smoked olives were a favourite of the table. Cocktails were nice both visually and to taste. We will be back.

We had the beef Gahliah which had a nice tender beef but the sauce was overpowered by the cilantro flavor that was in it so that was not our favorite. The lamb shank was delicious as well as the herbed rice and the cauliflower appetizer. Cocktails were great!
