    Our poor server tried, but had way too many tables. Most of the food wasn’t hot when served. Appetizers are overpriced for the tiny portion sizes. Lots of gnats/fruit flies around and on the table. We’ve been here many times over the last 5+ years, but probably will not return.

    I normally would not do a bad review for any of Del Frisco‘s restaurants. The food was outstanding however, the service was very poor this time. I told our waitress we had reservations at Bass Hall for a 7:30 show. She was very slow to take her order and the food took an extremely long time to come out, which is not normal for them. She hardly checked on us the entire time. We just made it to the show with a few minutes to spare. I’m extremely disappointed because this is not normal for Del Frisco‘s Grille

    Made reservations days ahead of time, arrived 30 minutes early and got a drink at the bar. Saw them go get people and seat them. At 6:05 I go the hostess and ask about us and then she says yeah we can seat you. Then ordered a drink 2 meals and appetizer. 6:30 had not received anything. Let the waitress know we have a performance to get to at 7:30. She then tells me they are backed up in tickets and we won’t get our meal before 7:15. But we could get appetizer s quickly. Kinda a let down on the evening for my friend who had never been to Del Friscos. I have been to several locations and this was a first (and last) for me. Definitely not returning to this location. I was told on a performance night to allow at least an hour and fifteen minutes for putting in an order to getting my meal. Sounds like an issue you need fix instead of relying on the customer to arrange that. Bit ridiculous….

    It was freezing cold in the restaurant, temperature definitely needs to be regulated better.

    Service was disorganized with incorrect meals delivered to several tables. Several tables complained about the wait. One table left after no service for 40 minutes. There seemed to be plenty of help running around, but no sense of purpose.

    We love Del Frisco's Grille. Have been there multiple times. Food is amazing and love the location and quality of the wait staff. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars this time is that they spent several minutes trying to sell me on buying a Landry's gift card. I expect that at Saltgrass but not at an upscale restaurant like Del Frisco's. Otherwise food was great and we had a great time.

    Things started off ok in that they had our reservation and sat us quickly upstairs at a table with beautiful view of Sundance Square. I was pleased because we were there to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. It went downhill from there. Our server, Casey, was welcoming & amiable but very slow to greet our table, slow to get our drinks, slow to take our appetizer order, slow to offer or deliver drink refills. The wine/cocktail book had a squashed bug between the pages & the window sill was dirty. The appetizer took more than 20 minutes to come to the table. He took our entree order & another long wait ensued. My husband ordered the 16oz Prime Ribeye medium rare. When the entrees finally came out his steak was between mid-well & well done. So, we sent it back. We all finished our entrees before his replacement steak came out. The replacement was delivered by the manager, Melissa, who asked my husband to cut into the steak to check its doneness. The 2nd steak was rare. Purple on the inside rare. She told my husband that was a mid-rare preparation when he told it was underdone. So he agreed to push through and eat it but one bite in he couldn’t stomach the purple flesh so we called Melissa back over. My husband, whose birthday we were celebrating, completely frustrated, just requested that they remove the steak from the bill & take it away. We were all finished eating & he had no dinner. Casey comes back & apologizes & says he is comping desserts for the table. So, trying to make the best of it we all order dessert. And, again, we wait, 10 minutes in, Casey comes back to say one of the desserts we ordered isn’t available so we have to pick something else. So we do, and again we wait. By the time the desserts come out we had already been discussing cancelling them, paying & leaving, because we still had to go somewhere else to get my husband some food. It was a train wreck. It was so far below the service & quality we expected from Del Friscos. Such a disappointment.
