Vancouver Now Has Its Very-Own Georgian Restaurant!
Dediko, owned by a mother-son team, serves the country’s famous stuffed breads and dumplings out of a cheery Evergreen Boulevard cafe. Dediko’s menu is stacked with the classics of that region, with a number of different khachapuri, soup-filled dumplings called khinkali, walnut-heavy vegetable dishes called phkali, and various grilled meats called mtsvadi. Also coming from the grill, Dediko’s kababi consists of a kebab-like grilled ground chicken patty with Georgian spices, folded in a roll of lavash flatbread. Nico Bakh is partial to a homey dish called lobio, a bean stew served in an imported Georgian pot, complete with a side of fermented vegetables and a Georgian cornbread called mchadi.

Excellent, Borsch unbelievable. Girls are very friendly. I hesitate recommending it because it is so unique I’m afraid if it too popular it might loose something in the success.

Such a great find! We were visiting the area and found this place after seeing the reviews. We made a reservation and had a great lunch on a Saturday! Food was delicious and the service was great. First time eating this type of food and loved it! I hope to come back again and try more. Thank you!

This place has an excellent menu with traditional Georgian food. Everything we ate was wonderful and the staff was great. Highly recommend this wonderful place.

Excellent food. Had read about Georgian food by travel writer being most delicious food and had wanted to try it and was not disappointed. Only regret is I live in Beaverton and not real convenient to get to. Cheese bread dish was awesome and all dishes delicious. Server was very warm and friendly; tall with dark hair.

My wife and I went to DEDIKo for Valentine's day. They started off on a bad note by trying to set us (an interracial couple) in the worst table in the house by the kitchen. We had a reservation and the restaurant was mostly empty. We complained and got moved to a much better table. The food was generally very good especially the tiflis salad and the lamb mtsvadi which was possibly the best lamb my wife and I have had. We also had the beef khinkali for appetizer, which was tasty, but not that interesting so I wouldn't order again. Chicken satsivi was not very good and even with bread had way too much sauce. The rest of the service was mediocre at best, but I'm not too surprised as they do a mandatory 20% service fee, so servers don't feel the need to provide good service for a good tip. They brought our bread way before the mtsvadi, didn't ask us for drink order and were not easy to get their attention. For dessert we got the markiza which was flaky and delicious, but my wife thought it was a bit sweet. In summary the food was quite good, but the initial issue and the service left much to be desired.

Very nice restaurant with incredible food. My favorite was the Bread Boat and the Lamb. Everything was good though. Lemonade was also tasty but more similar to rum/caramel jack Daniels and coke than your typical Lemonade haha

Business lunch with a client. I chose this restaurant knowing my client liked trying new foods and Dediko did not disappoint. The food is beyond delicious and flavors extraordinary! The spices - amazing and so flavorful. The ambiance is delightful and artfully curated. Service is friendly and helpful with suggesting menu combinations. We enjoyed Khachapuri, Dumplings, Satsivi and a glass of Georgian Amber wine. Highly recommended!

The food was insane and the waitress was actually helpful with ordering. We were stuffed but still ordered desert because the food was just that good. Can’t wait to go back, thank you to Dediko for providing such great food!

Can I go every day? On our first trip, the food and service were exceptional, and I truly think this is our new favorite place. I will do better to book ahead for an inside spot, but the patio seating was still lovely (and plenty warm even though it was Jan. 4.). The waitstaff were amazing, and every bite of food was delectable—perfectly spiced and seasoned. We came on the eve of driving our first-year student back to college and it was wonderful. Thanks, DEDiko!

Our first time eating here. Wonderful experience-great ambience, food and service were great. I am gluten free and was happy with the choices. The dishes with gluten though look even more amazing.

What can I say!?! This restaurant is amazing! Between the delicious and cheesy, savory small plate dishes to the pear lemonade and honey cake, we were in heaven. A great place to celebrate a birthday, or simply to get together with your friends and family to make a happy memory! We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking a unique experience that is both memorable and delicious! This is a lovely spot with wonderful Georgian food. Interesting dishes with unique flavor profiles, textures, colors and tastes. Be sure to pair with a Georgian wine, one of the world’s oldest wine-producing regions. And the servers are so friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. All around, one of the best dining experiences in Vancouver or Portland

The food we enjoyed was out of this world! We celebrated a birthday and the family style presentation of the dishes was so fun to share and try different foods. This was our first time trying Georgian food, this restaurant is the best if that’s what you’re looking for. Our server, Julia, took such good care of us and helped us learn about the various dishes. The ambiance was warm and comfortable, parking was easy, and having reservations made it seamless. Please visit and support this family owned, local business!

im always on a hunt for authentic Georgian food-everywhere i travel. and this place is IT. honestly it’s really hard to go other Georgian restaurants, because I always compare it to this one. the ambience and quality has set the bar.

Staff was friendly and very helpful in getting us seated early and in explaining the menu. Food was incredible; we ordered quite a variety and everything from appetizers to dessert was delicious!
