So our last time at Dea’s was not so good. Service and food off, so bad review and off our list. My daughter wanted to go for her birthday, one of her favorite restaurants so, her choice. We had a reservation and were a tad early, but seated upstairs for the first time. Oscar was our waiter and bartender and he was the best. He wished my daughter Happy Birthday and off we went. Food was exceptionally this time, everyone was happy. So one time is not a trend and Dea came through. Highly recommend

We consistently find the service at Dea to be the best of any restaurant we visit. Great cocktail options. Stsrters and mains are excellent. Wine list is not huge but quality bottles

We had a lovely dinner at DEA. Sat in a pretty blue booth in the bar area. Great service. Lots of craft cocktails, beer and wine to choose from. Started with the prosciutto bruschetta. Fantastic. Also had Lynae’s AAA salad (arugula, asparagus, artichoke hearts). The dressing on the salad is so good I could drink it! For our mains, my husband had the Bolognese pasta and I had the halibut with roasted baby carrots. Both were delicious! Capped the night off with the olive oil cake and a cappuccino. YUM! The perfect end to a lovely dinner.

If you’re looking for a nice date date night this is the spot!! The meatballs and prosciutto bruschetta are a must for appetizers. The curated drinks are all great and delicious pasta!

We went for our Anniversary. Some friends had recommended it and we really enjoyed everything. We did sit upstairs which seemed more quiet then the rest of the restaurant which was perfect in this case. Rigo was the the perfect amount of attentive! Thank you for a lovely evening.

Excellent Italian restaurant with friendly knowledgeable staff which is a rare find in D. Highly recommend. Chicken Pallard was best I ever had. Wife had shrimp scampi with house made linguine. We sat at the bar and will do so again.

Becca and Joel took very good care of us. My wife and I rarely get out for date nights these days, so we hope to always make it worthwhile and it definitely was last night. Joel was kind enough to replace our dessert and let us keep the miscommunicated order free of charge, which is solid service, in my opinion. At other establishments, I have had situations where they aren't as accommodating. The restaurant is beautiful, food is tasty and served promptly and the ambiance is perfect for date nights and a night out with friends in general. We didn't try any of the specialty cocktails, but the options were plentiful and looked quite tasty... Thanks Joel, Becca, the sommelier (sorry, I didn't get her name), the bussers, food runner, the hostess who followed through on our request for a booth and kitchen staff for making our date night a great one!!!! Well, no shortage of staff, but our server just was not very attentive. Front of house stopped by to make sure everything was OK, my wife is not a fan of me expressing concern, ruins the meal. Too many issues to list here, but wish we had a better time. We have had good meals here before. Salad was gritty, so lettuce not clean. Pork chop was flavorless and under seasoned. My wife liked her pasta. They have done better. Perhaps an off night. Unfortunate.

We dined at Dea on a Wednesday evening and it was wonderful. The food was great and the service was perfect. We had the meatballs as an appetizer and they have to have been the best meatballs I’ve had anywhere. We also tried a special, Tracy‘s pesto shrimp pasta. It tasted sooo good - so much flavor. Our server Katie was seriously the best. She quickly and graciously adjusted to how we like to dine and did not try to rush us. Even the hostess who sat was particularly friendly. This will be one of our new regular spots to go.

The bar is definitely the place to sit with Brie and Caroline giving excellent service and advice for dishes along with the right wine to pair it with.

The service was atrocious. Our entrees took so long to arrive that the waiter offered us a free dessert without us saying anything. It was clear that the food sat under a heat amp as the proteins were quite warm but the vegetables/starches underneath were not. When playing for the meal, one card was brought back, but with a different receipt. They had to rerun the card and finally brought back the other card. For the prices, I would not go back.

Food was delicious and our waiter was great but the bussing was obnoxious. They would pull a plate as soon as you finished your last bite or sometimes before - twice I had to have them replace plates that we were not finished with. The overall pacing of the meal turned out fine, but be ready to have to fend off aggressive attempts to clear your plate before you’ve finished your course.

I had a great brunch date at Dea, the service was great during the brunch hours. They have a live artist playing music. It was a great atmosphere. I ordered the Wagyu and eggs, absolutely delicious and worth it.

Dea is underrated and consistently good. I had the shrimp pasta with pesto sauce and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. I hope they add it to their regular menu.

Food and service were excellent. Craft cocktails were amazing. Entertaininment by Quinten Hope was the best part of the visit. Owner was friendly to all of the regulars but never stopped to welcome us. I wouldn’t find that odd except she was so friendly to everyone else. Our server Brandon was outstanding! Ask for him when you go!

I believe that we were in attendance for the first or second brunch that they had ever hosted, so I think they did a pretty good job, in terms of a learning curve. The staff was lovely and so was the atmosphere. The music was a little too loud, but we did sit rather close to the guitarist. His PA was just a bit too intense for us to enjoy a mellow brunch. I think they could use just a tiny bit of work on their brunch selection… I believe it's always tricky with figuring out good brunch menus at an Italian restaurant. I'm sure they'll figure it out.
