My experience might have been better if they had fans and/or AC inside the restaurant. It was miserable hot and loud inside.

Megan the hostess was incredible. She helped our group of 8 to find seating on a super busy Cinco de Mayo weekend. The tacos are *chef’s kiss* and you’ll only need one margarita, they’re that strong.

We had a weird start to our first impression here. We called and said we would be 6 min late due to traffic on the road that was abnormal. When we got there, she pointed at our table and told us that they were cleaning it off or us. shortly after a table by us (we were standing waiting for our table) asked for our table since it was covered and they gave it to them and they gave our table to them due to miscommunication and offered no compensation or a drink or happy hour drinks or anything. We had our reservation at 5:15 and we were eventually sat at 5:55 tonight.

First, the host pointed us towards (but didn't lead us to) our table. No one ever came by, despite a bunch of staff and servers buzzing about. We left at 5:48 after I noticed that a nearby table who'd been sat after us had already received their drinks, chips, and queso. We didn't even have water.

Overall experience was a 5 as all three of us loved what we ordered! Service was slow after we first ordered to the point I had to get up to ask about some drinks, hence the 4 stars here. Can't go wrong with the carnitas, camote or barbacoa tacos. We also devoured the de nada trio! All delish. Out of towner was delighted!!! I didn't love the cider margarita and that was the only f&b downside. Can't wait to go back and try some other things.

Fun atmosphere with great margs and good tacos, but a little overpriced. Value would be better if chips and salsa were complimentary and guac portion was larger. It was pretty packed the night I went which meant a lot of people standing close to our table. I also hope they can improve the bathroom situation since there are always long lines.

Our server was so attentive and kind! I forgot her name but she was fantastic. The prickly pear rocks marg was great, great value for the food not huge portions but tasty. Definitely recommend the guac and queso!

Our waiter left once we got our appetizer and then no one continued waiting on us. I eventually had to go to the bar to order and the waiter didn’t believe my ID, when I am in my late 20s and had my real ID.

Always an enjoyable meal at De Nada. Great food, low key atmosphere, and of course, great drinks. After more than 50 visits I think my only complaint is loud tables that treat it like a bar, but it seems like they mostly wind up being seated outside in the back now so it’s not as bad.

Great service! Our server was very informative and provided great suggestions! Food we great! We had a carnitas taco & a camarón (shrimp) taco. Wish the food portions were a little larger. The tacos came al a cart not as a plate or meal, no rice, beans, or sides included. Queso and salsa verde were to die for! MARGS WERE DELICIOUS! We tried the mango & the guava! Very yummy! Loved the ambiance and Latin music and textiles! Will definitely return!!!

Location desperately needs to expand. Had the reservation for over a month and was put at a small patio table that you could buy at target inside. Also marked that it was for an anniversary so we really just expected a normal table. If I were a walk in, I would expect to be placed at the worst table in the restaurant but not with a reservation that we had for so long.

Great place - its pretty crowded though and its hard to hear the waitstaff. Might consider Tabbed Out, or something like that so it reduces the need for waiting.

I had such an amazing time at De Nada. My group had requested a table inside, but decided we wanted to sit outside when we got there. There were no more outside tables, but the waitress was really accommodating and offered to open the door and window next to our table. The food was also fantastic. I got two tacos and they were some of the best that I’ve had in Austin.

We arrived almost 20 min late for a reservation. I know- but traffic, a full parking lot, wrong turn to get to street parking, it all kept adding up. We sent a message through the reservation app and just hoped for the best as we walked to the restaurant. The restaurant and its parking lot were PACKED with people for national margarita day. I was convinced we would be turned away or have to wait forever, and understandably so because of how late we were. Instead, the host welcomed us in and we were seated right away. A very polite waitress was at our table within a few minutes, and to my absolute shock, the first round was on the table within 10 minutes! Even though we were so late and they were PACKED our waitress checked on us regularly, we didn't feel rushed, and the other items we ordered were just as speedy. Oh - and the margaritas and tacos were delightful. Needless to say, I will happily visit De Nada Cantina in the future.
