1 don’t make reservations on this app if you decide you want to reserve a spot. Just show up with 50 people 2 management is super unprofessional and hot literally a hot mess 3 there is a lot better places to spend your money 4 it’s so hot in the building it self 5 don’t even waste your time to come

Lost my reservation even though I called 2 days in advance to validate they had received it. Still accommodated our 13 person party.

Worst of the worst experience! We made a reservation from Dave&Buster's company website for a big team event. When we arrived and surprisingly found the place was double booked. The arrogant manager did not honor our online reservation. He said they had no control of online reservation and they will not contact people for issues with online reservations. Cannot believe it! Off my list forever

On January 20th, my family and I came to Dave and Buster's to celebrate my son's 8th birthday. When we arrived I told the hostess I had a reservation for 3:00. It took over 20 minutes for us to be seated. After waiting for several minutes, another hostess walked up to the stand. I then asked her about the status of my reservation. I was told she was unsure why they didn't see my reservation. I showed her my confirmation text and the original text that was sent on January 10 that my reservation for January 20th was made. The day prior I spoke with Matt who was very helpful. I wished there was better communication as to why we were waiting for so long upon checking in. Our waiter Holly was very pleasant. The food was okay. My niece waited soo long for a salad she orderd. The table received all our food before she was served. It almost felt like they forgot.

Need to hire more people. Server was very nice but tasked with far too many tables. Slowest service I may have ever had. Also took management 61 minutes to put a requested event on one TV, despite everyone promising it would be on soon.

Service would get zero stars if I could. Waiter took over an hour to bring appetizers and drinks. Food took 1.25 hours to arrive and you could tell it sat under a heating lamp for quite a while. Salads were brought out after the entrees, all three were wrong and sent back. One kids meal took 30 mins to arrive after the other meals (this was a meal for a hungry 4 year old). One of the entrees was poorly undercooked. It took almost 45 mins to get it remade.. so long that it was taken to go as we had already been at the table for well over two hours and all the meals still hadn’t arrived. The manager tried to help but it was evident that he was under trained and overwhelmed. Finally we got up to leave after the bus lady started to clear the table before we even got all of our entrees. The food was good, what food we got. The waiter was a smoker and you could smell that he spent more time mowing down cigarettes then taking care of his tables.

I’m mad @ myself for not remembering the name of the gentleman that served us New Years Eve. We had a great time! Great way to bring in the new year!

Appetizers were good. The main issue was that our server did not check in on us frequently. When we were ready to close out, he was nowhere to be found. It took 20 minutes from our check request to the time we received our check. To keep everything simple, we put everything on one check. However, they charged the full amount, but also a random amount on top of the full amount. The gave us the tip ticket on the random amount, and when a manager was called, he said to leave a tip on the other ticket and sign it anywhere. I didn’t feel comfortable doing that, so he said he would reprint it. Needless to say, they attempted to charge my card again while I was there. After an hour of them trying to figure it out, we left. Once I left, I got notifications of them attempting to charge two different amounts that were not the check total. Overall, they tried to charge an additional cumulative total of $330, and I had to lock my card. Because of this, I’d likely not go back.

This was the first time my husband and I had ever been to Dave & Busters; we are in our early 60’s… however we have 5 grown Adult children, who now have young families of their own. Our son Matthew, his wife and our 4YO grand daughter were visiting us here in Texas over the Thanksgiving Holidays… thus for the 1st time in many years; as they usually come at Christmas, 3 of our Adult Children (along with their spouses and their children) arranged to all get together in Austin to celebrate his 41st birthday. Our Adult children wanted to go some where, that would be fun for them, as well as their children… who range in age from 11 to 18month We made a reservation using the site their webpage suggests be use… Open Table… we listed that we would be a party of 12 and that we would be there to celebrate a Birthday…. And we were assigned availability at 2:45PM on 11/2 This was by far the WORST dining experience I have encountered in my entire life… when we arrived they didn’t seem to know we had a reservation. 10 minutes later they got thar issue squared away and we taken to area to wait while they set up a table large enough to accommodate our group. After being seated, we waited over 20 minutes, before we had to go find someone to ask if any wait staff was working where we had been sat? 5 minutes later the manager showed up and said there had been some confusion as to who had been assigned to our table and eventually a very nice man showed up and said that “even though this wasn’t his station he would be helping us”… almost 50 minutes after being sat..this gentleman took our order…. 40 minutes later, 2 of our 4 grandchildren’s orders arrived (1 cheeseburger & 1 chicken strips) and 3 of our children’s meals arrived (2 cheeseburger and 1 chicken wrap) 5 meals out of 12…. The rest of us… which included two very fussy toddlers by this time, and the other 5 meals did not arrive for almost another another 45 minutes… we won’t even discuss beverages or service
