Beautiful Modern Mediterranean restaurant by Chefs Laura and Sayat (Star Chefs and San Fransisco Chronicle Rising Stars) at the Main Parade Lawn in the heart of the Presidio National Park. The restaurant's menus feature Presidio-inspired seasonal craft cocktails, a progressive wine menu, and a cuisine that balances the comfort of familiar Mediterranean flavors with California sensibilities.

In cohesion with the Presidio National Park, the design features soft, natural colors; repurposed furniture items from the Presidio; and a mural and a hand-drawn wall paper by Bay Area artist Emily Parkinson. Diners can enjoy a patio with a view of Alcatraz; an intimate private dining room; a lofty main dining room surrounded by windows on two sides; a cozy bar that is a local favorite; and an open-concept kitchen counter with counter seats and high tables.

    What a beautiful space, or rather, collection of spaces. I loved the botanical decor, the nod to nature was everywhere. Clearly there is a respect for our local bounty of produce and quality ingredients. I enjoyed the cocktail I had (can’t remember the name but it’s first on their list) an elevated sour variation including a bergamot note. The spreads plate was beautiful and delicious, we ate every bit. Our server was a bit brusque, but I did appreciate her willingness to share her opinion as well as her general service overall. We sat at the chef’s counter which if you ask me, is the place to be. I will absolutely try more of their seafood dishes next time, I felt regret for not ordering the stuffed squid mezze, that looked amazing coming out of the oven! My friend loved the stuffed pepper entree, I had the Lamb Chops (which were really in the specific Cypriot style, ground meat wrapped in caul fat.) I felt the richness level was past where I like to eat. I would have enjoyed a bright note somewhere to balance the heavy hitting richness of the tahini, lamb, caul fat. A pickle? I wasn’t able to finish my dish even though the portions are on par with fine dining portions as expected. My friend loved the stuffed pepper and felt it integrated well with our remaining bits of mezze. The charbroiled rice pudding was interesting in theory, but we ended up rolling off that too blackened layer to get to the inside part of the dish. It simply was full ash char - too much for me. Those points being made, it is a beautiful restaurant with a lot of promise and quite delicious overall. I will try the lamb shoulder next time, that seems like the dish to have. I will absolutely return - and maybe try the main room or bar next time. The atmosphere was busy, lively, and cheerful inside, I really enjoyed the ambiance!

    Everything about our lunch was perfect. The food was delicious with so many flavors that made the experience perfect. Our server was polite and prompt and we appreciated all that he did for us. I will recommend Dalida to all our friends in the Marina neighborhood and beyond.

    I would give Dalida 5 starts happily, except the noise level is off the charts. The food, cocktails and service are all so amazing, it’s a real bummer to deal with not being able to hear your dinner mates. Our 21 year old daughter even concurred.

    Family in town/ I was trying to find a place none of us had been (party of 6). We were seated promptly inside & awaited our meal. Review: Pita is phenomenal & bread tray(2) for the table was eaten with abandon! However, meal while very good, was disappointing. 2 1/2 Aleppo chix orders led to confusion wait staff arrived with #2 Order but said we had gotten’wrong’ order and issue was her’s not ours. Then she touched the 1st order & somehow felt temp was OK. Confusing & ( though not intended) started to feel like a Michelin shell game. Two salads ( with Dukkah) sounded delicious but presentation appeared to small selection of mixed greens with small pile of dukkah enhanced grains which (not intended,perhaps seemed like an afterthought vs the composed salad inference on the menu). Pasta small serving of underwhelming reality. Harissa cauliflower WAY overdone so flavors lost! In summation, ? how it gets a Michelin star & ended up on SF Chronicle’s best of today 5/30. Go for pita tray, skip the rice w/barberries. Bland and uninteresting. 2 can easily split a chicken order. Skip pasta & consider a heartier side. BUT- rice pudding with burnt Carmel sauce is a showstopper if pudding fan. Wait staff lacks smooth chain vibe. While earnest & ‘attentive ’( not oppressively so). Not a single person from reception to billing gave us their name. Location in the Presidio is fabulous, Dining room design is minimalist and still tastefully done. Parking can be lot or metered & =$7/hour. Waitstaff seems fragmented, Food: probably more like 3-4 vs 4. None of us drank but sparkling water was perfect.

    Delicious Mediterranean date night spot. Would come back for the lamb, tahdig, and fresh pita alone. We sat at the chef's table. It was awesome to see the kitchen in action and here the order's being tossed out (a la The Bear). Also ordered the octopus and artichoke which were good but wouldn't need to get again. Service was on point all night and Rich was super knowledgeable about all of the dishes. Drinks were a bit of a miss (martini and horse warrior). Will certainly be coming back. Would likely do the Chef's Tasting Menu next time.

    Been here twice, once for breakfast and once for dinner. Both times were great! Food was delicious, service was great. Will definitely be back here, they have become our favorite spot in SF!

    Although we had enjoyed delicious lunches at Dalida twice before heading there for brunch, we were sorely disappointed. Service was lacking; we had to summon a server to take our order. Rarely did anyone stop by to see if we needed anything. Our Chicken Fried Eggs were basically tasteless as was the Su Borek; fortunately the friends we were hosting enjoyed their Tepsi Kebabi. My husband felt his latte was lackluster. The star of the show as always was the pita bread. Perhaps we caught the staff on an off day but we'll stick to lunch here in the future.
