It was a enjoyable evening with family. Our waiter Allan was great and was a pleasure. Food was good and presented well.

This was our first time at the restaurant. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised as the experience was much better than we expected. The staff was welcoming, our server, Tom, was cordial and humorous. Bread, salad, wine, entree - all excellent. Definitely we will be repeats.

Server, Ken, broke down the entire menu and for the rest of the evening, provided excellent service to include personally making a requested Creamy Espresso Martini that was our perfect dessert. The house Italian wine perfectly paired with the Short Rib and Lamb Rack. Intend to return since the menu review reflected there is so much to yet to offer.

Two Sea Bass in red sauce one Veal Parmigiano and a Lamb Chop, all cooked to perfection. The girls weren't pleased with the red sauce. They felt it smothered the fish. The veal and lamb were very generous portions. The room was energized by a party of 16. Wine was superb

The food was outstanding as always. Ann, the owner is always there to greet the Diners. Alan is a very good Waiter and knows the menu Quite well. Recommend Going during the week. The weekends are very busy.

The Daily News is a charming restaurant with great service and food. There is a good variety of menu choices. Alen hosted our table and was superb. He is a true professional and also made fantastic martinis! This restaurant is a gem.

Excellent fine dining experience at this family owned restaurant in Clearwater. During our second visit this week the owner,Samira, was once again gracious, helpful and attentive.Our server,Alan,was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable and invaluable in assisting us with our food and wine selections and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed the bone in veal chop, veal Marsala and short ribs this visit. Previously Sandra was our server and was phenomenal. The rack of lamb was the best I have ever had and my dining companions raved about the lobster ravioli adorned with seafood. Bread served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar was delicious. Save room for the scrumptious desserts. Highly recommend this dining gem.

This was our second visit to Daily News and they out did themselves…again!!! This is definitely on our list of date night spots. Sam greeted us at the door with much warmth 😊. She remembered us which a a big + with us. She gave us her best server, Alen, who was AMAZING!! He was attentive, knew the menu and his descriptions were done with such passion and tastefulness, that we couldn’t decide what we really wanted…on pretty much all the courses!! Everything was amazing…again!! Thank you Sam, Alen, and (Tom😉) for another wonderful dining experience 💖💖💖

We have been here before and had a very good experience. This was not true this time. Our wait person was overwhelmed. He seemed to have too many tables and I believe he was also preparing drinks for the table of 6 that arrived after us. Our appetizer came after salad and soup. Dinner entree was good. But then had to wait for our check for approximately 20 minutes after finishing. I think our waiter was making drinks again. Maybe just short of employees this night but it was very disappointing

We love this restaurant! Last night was our 5th time dining here. Aside from the great food and reasonable prices, this restaurant is charming and beautiful inside. Highly recommend. Side note: one of the few, if not only restaurant that gives you bread, as well as soup or salad to go with your meal.

This restaurant is a pure gem. The menu was carefully selected to serve many tastes. The food was delicious and it was one of the best meals we have ever had. Our server, Tom, was as good as they come. Overall, this restaurant has to to be on your list when in the area.

Not what I expected from a restaurant in Clearwater. Felt more like like a high-end restaurant in LA or NY. The food was very well made and the ambiance was cozy and romantic. I would highly recommend for a date night.

We chose Daily News since they had some good write ups and had an open slot for our reservation. Glad we went- had the house salad, delicious creamy soup, rack of lamb and shrimp scampi. All were uniquely tasty, and as a whole dinner was a treat. Service was prompt, but slowed as the restaurant filled with other diners.

From the moment were were greeted at the door until our departure all was exceptional. Our young server was knowledgeable of the menu and provided good service without hovering. The menu has a wide selection and our veal dishes were delicious. I would also say their portions are quite ample. I recommend this hidden jewel for any occasion as well as a simple dinner.

This was a first visit for our party of four. I had the Seafood special it consisted of grouper, shrimp and octopus. It was beyond delicious. Server was very knowledgeable and courteous. Great wine list.

Cozy and warm. Inviting and intimate. It feels like you’re out having dinner with close friends. The attention to detail, personalized care, and exquisite food makes Daily News a new favorite - we will definitely be back.
