We had a really good time and enjoyed our meal. Our Korean Family was in town for an event and we were able to have a lovely evening. One thing is that Daebek is not really for Korean people. The wait staff do not necessarily understand the level of service expected by Korean’s at this type of establishment but for everyone else it is great. Would avoid the kimichi jigae as it is not very good. Tasted like ketchup. The high end meat was also a little tough. Recommend the soju/beer tower and the spicy pork. Those were excellent. Soondubu Jigae was good as a side. Other side dishes were also pretty good. Would definitely come back but won’t necessarily bring Korean folks…

Really enjoyed this place and restaurant was very accommodating when we had some unexpected guests arrive to our party. Food was delicious and ambience enjoyable!

The food is good but for the amount you pay for, I’d expect to receive more food. We had a party of 3 guests and ordered the large (3-4ppl). It was the same amount as when you order the small (1-2ppl). We were still hungry either way. I’d say it’s better to not go with a larger party, it’s better to go to an “all you can eat Korean BBQ”. The quality here is the same quality at any other place, at least somewhere else you are getting multiple meats versus just 3 meats. But if you go as a couple, it’s worth the time, quaint and easy to locate. We paid $140 for just the food - no drinks. We shouldn’t be hungry afterwards though in my opinion. Staff is very nice and great customer service, restaurant is clean and well kept. Food is good quality and fresh.

Excellent, would recommend. Ordered the beef dinner set for 2 of us. Choose 3 of 4 beef items: galbi, steak, marinated. Comes with rice, soup, banchan, egg custard, cheese corn. $78. The grill is a convex heavy iron plate heated by gas control vented directly above. The restaurant is not smoky at all. Park in the paylot along the red line and bring ticket in for validation. This is in the very east interior end of the new chinatown square.

The first combo was perfect for 4 people! Exceptional food and service, they explained everything to us newcomers and it all was delicious!

The service and food was absolutely amazing, and the scene of the restaurant is very pretty! Worth every penny! Will definitely be going back there soon and would DEFINITELY recommend!
