    Best italian spot in west village ..... their home made pasta are out of this world ..dont miss the octopus salad and the tiramisu desert

    I had an amazing evening at Da Andrea! The lamb chops were cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and simply delicious. I paired them with their signature cocktail, the Capri, which was refreshing and perfectly balanced. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere, combined with outstanding service, made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommended!

    This place is a gem! The Carbonara is hands down the best I’ve ever had - rich, creamy and delicious. The service is exceptional, and the family-friendly vibe makes it feel like home. Highly recommended!!

    Such a delightful evening at the DaAndrea . The home made pasta was mouth watering . We had Papardelle and Ossobuco. The Ossobuco was on their daily specials as a premium main course. For an appetizer we had meat balls and mussels. We read online that their Tiramisu was amazing and it did not disappoint.Also the warm chocolate walnut cake with caramel ice cream was superb. Their wine list has variety Italian wines from very affordable to very high end. Our servers Shirley and Shaiel looked after us so well and they were really fun. The restaurant overall has very welcoming homey vibe and the staff is wonderful. We were greeted on the way in and out and multiple times checked on our meal. Top notch service. Thank you.

    It was a great experience at this restaurant. I enjoyed the location and the decor. The current season seems perfect for an outdoor setting, and the host was very friendly, guiding us to our table. The food was particularly good, starting with the soup of the day as an appetizer, followed by the tuna tartar. Both were excellent choices. On Shirley’s recommendation(our waitress), we ordered the exquisite salmon and lamb shank. Despite it being a Wednesday, the ambiance was quite cozy.

    A group of 5 went here last evening. We were seated outside but unfortunately we were seated at the far end of the outside area. NYU students were all moving their stuff into the storage building right beside us. At one point a cart rolled towards us. Wish they had seated us in the lovely outdoor area that is so nicely decorated with flowers. We did have a reservation but this is where they seated us. Food was mixed. We had 6 entrees. The pasta Bolognese was all meat sauce without enough pasta to absorb the sauce. The tagliatelle and the Zappa de Pesce were outstanding. Take a pass on the salads and flatbread.

    Pasta was amazing. Service was great!!! Wine choices are good. My husband had the spaghetti bolognese and I had the primavera.
