Cunard Tavern draws its inspiration from the rich nautical history of the nearby East Boston Shipyard and the countless people whose search of the American Dream began when they first landed there.

Second only to Ellis Island, East Boston was the port of entry for many immigrants who came to its shores in search of opportunity.

From shipbuilders to carpenters, from welders to longshoremen, we celebrate those who landed at Cunard Wharf and helped build this great neighborhood.

I love the food here. The service is spotty. Very friendly staff. The noise level is a tad high for me

Our friends were in from out of town so we decided on brunch before their send off. Deeply disappointed in this brunch. The avocado toast was almost inedible. looked like days-old avocado brown guacamole, and tasteless. It was served cold. My husband had the Eggs Benedict that had what seemed like canned hollandaise sauce on top. Our friend ordered a regular breakfast that was also cold . This is not our past experience at the Cunard. Our server was very nice.

My friend and I had a very enjoyable night eating dinner here. The staff was lovely and the food was outstanding. The meal was refreshing and exactly what we ordered. 10/10 would recommend

We have been to Cunard once before in the summer and loved it, but our last visit felt like an entirely different place… The service was great but the food was not enjoyable. My pasta dish looked like it had sat under a heat lamp for a while, and the sauce was bland and separated. My partner’s duck was very expensive for a dish that looked great but did not have nearly as much effort put into its taste.
