Cultivar San Francisco is an intimate, wine-centric farm to table restaurant by Cultivar Wine. Featuring a menu inspired by locally-sourced seasonal ingredients including from our culinary garden at Caspar Estate. The menu complements hand-crafted wines from our Cultivar Winery as well as boutique wines from California and beyond. Offering our Cultivar Wine club flight and a customizable wine club. Cultivar Wine Club members get 20% off their Cultivar wine and Cultivar food. Join our Cultivar Wine Club today.

Our back patio has a fireplace, overhead heaters and festive lighting, perfect setting for a private dinner or a celebration. Sidewalk tables on Chestnut have heaters, great for people watching and guests with dogs.
Seasonal dishes and Cultivar Wines available for take out and to go.
Our location is near the Lyon St. entrance to the Presidio, near the Palace of Fine Arts and in the Marina District of San Francisco.

Amazing service! It was our first visit and he gave great advice for things we could try. Even though it was pretty chilly outside lol… it turned out to be the perfect outing for our occasion.

Lovely experience, and will definitely return. The waiter was very kind... We were a small group of girlfriends celebrating a birthday, enjoyed on the patio on a beautiful Sunday. The food was delicious and a great value!! Cheers!

This was the best experience I have ever had We were seated in the heated inside. Patio in the side so it was very intimate. The tables were far apart The waitress and other servers were Professionals and made this a magical experience.. We started with wine choices This restarant serves their own wine and we did the reserve We think the price and the flavor was A deal Then we had appetizers like tuna Tartar and they held the spice. The jicama salad was to die for. And humus …all fresh and delis Our entrees were divine..peanut noodles and grilled asparagus.

My girlfriends and I absolutely love Cultivar! It's definitely the best wine bar in the City. Great food, amazing wine and the service is awesome. Jeff is definitely our favorite - he is so friendly, funny and knows so much about wine.

Had brunch at this farm to table restaurant and wine bar - on the porch outside the front door. Brought our dogs - fun environment with other people and dogs, and a great breakfast … Steak hash, Eggs Benedict, Farmers Omelette with fresh veggies from their farm/ vineyard.

A beautiful wine selection, delicious food. I took the chicken skewer with rice and had their vanilla ice cream for desert. The waitress was friendly and the ambiance was nice.

If you want good wine with your meal at a reasonable price, in a restaurant, this is your unicorn. Since Cultivar is owned by a winery, you are not getting the usual double price mark up. They sell a solid array of nice wine by the bottle or glass at retail prices without even adding a corkage or pouring charge. The food is of equal quality and complements the wine nicely.

I think we visited on an off-night. Service was very slow. Tough to get our order in. There was a party being held inside so perhaps that was the reason for the slow service. The wine was very good but we couldn't figure out why Cultivar is unique or stands out among other wine bars? We will likely go back and give it another try.

We sat outside, which was fine. The kitchen was super slow. I'm assuming it's because they're short-staffed, but there was never an explanation.

Food seemed like it would be super yummy based on descriptions, but needed salt (and pepper). Garlic crab noodles needed flavor, and the noodles were way too al dente.

It was our first time at Cultivar. We had the best family holiday dinner with friends and family in the City. Worth the drive! The service was over the top and the outdoor area with the amazing fireplace and decorations was completely unexpected! We may make it our annual family/friend dinner place!!! Wine was excellent too…and best part was that they let us enjoy our company and did not rush us. 🎄

We were looking for a place to dine before a show at Palace of Fine Arts. Lots of options in the neighborhood and we picked a winner. The patio at Cultivar is an absolutely beautiful setting. We were fortunate to be seated near the amazing fireplace. A bottle of their Syrah was our wine selection and it did not disappoint. Every dish we chose was incredibly delicious. The value for the wine, food, and atmosphere was excellent. Definitely would return.

Cultivar is one of my very favorite places to go for great wine, food, and atmosphere. I love the back patio which is always warm and cozy, even on a drizzly night. The waitstaff is warm and welcoming and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. We split burrata and tomatoes, shishito peppers, and fish tacos. All delicious. And a bottle of Cultivar rose, also yummy.

We decided to go to Cultivar for Sunday brunch. The food was good, but the service was a bit inconsistent. We sat in the front patio, and there was a bit of noise (I would choose back patio next time). One of us got the breakfast burrito and the other got the steak hash. Highly recommend both! We will be returning to check out the back area next time.

We ate in the outdoor courtyard behind the restaurant and enjoyed the ambiance very much. Attentive service and quite good food. We had a cobb salad, grilled cheese sandwich and shared a tomato soup. And a glass of pinot noir. Very nice.

I would probably not come here for anything more than casual get-together happy-hour style. The restaurant touts their farm-to-table style and they deliver. The food was good, unless you are vegan. There is a cauliflower rice dish that's rather dry.

Our first experience at Cultivar. We had to wait in the door and the place was almost empty except for a group of ladies (in pink) nobody took the time to greet us. After, we were sat it took more than average minutes to get attention again on our table. Food was excellent and our drinks too. We love to drive to the city and to try different places. We aren’t sure if we will go back to Cultivar.

I would of given 1 less star on the service, however they looked a little short of help. The manager or hostess should of stepped up to give the poor girl a hand. Other than that the meal was very good

The food was okay but the service was not so great. We had a reservation at 8:00 pm but didn't get seated until 8:20, which is fine with us given they seem short-staffed. However, after our food came out and things started to slow down, we were never checked on for the rest of the night and had to grab the food runner who walked pass us for our bill.
