Bienvenue au CUCINA urbana, un restaurant de quartier italo-américain avec boutique de vin. Il vous accueille dans un cadre décontracté, au cœur de Bankers Hill. Son menu met en évidence les cuisines de différentes régions d'Italie agrémentées de sa fameuse touche californienne distincte à base de produits de la ferme à la table, qui a fait la réputation de l'Urban Kitchen Group. Le chef Joe Magnanelli est heureux de partager son héritage italien et de concocter des plats frais, simples et de saison, notamment des antipasti, des pizzas traditionnelles, des pâtes et des piatti. Vous pourrez déguster du vin au verre ou découvrir la boutique de vin et choisir une bouteille parmi plus de 100 références au prix de détail (un droit de bouchon de 8 USD s'applique).     Really tasty grilled octopus; some of the best in town. Great, friendly service; all in all, a really enjoyable dining experience.

    Excellent service and excellent food. It was a bit noisy and they do charge a BS "service fee"

    Both pasta dishes were very good. Pasta was obviously freshly made. Octopus was a bit overcooked. Wine recommendation a little generic, had a red pasta so 3 out of the five red wines were recommended. Overall, just good

    I think it's always nice when you've dined somewhere the staff recognizes you when you arrive and during your visit. Over the years I've always had a special place in my heart for Cucina Urbana, for the marvelous staff, ambience, and not to mention the outstanding food and wine selections. My server this evening was Daryl. We remembered each other from some of visits a while back. He started me with water, iced tea and a Ketel One dirty martini with bleu cheese olives and explained a “special” was recently introduced and was to be added to the regualr menu as early as the weekend. It was Blue Prawns, three head on large Australian prawns, on a bed of sunchokes and tomatoes with salsa rosa all on a pool of aleppo yogurt and garnished with micro leeks. OMG it was better than described. It will be such a great addition to the menu. I'll be having that again and again. I decided I wanted a glass of Barbera D'Alba, Casina Dardi, from Piemonte in Northern Italy, love their Italian wine selections. So with that I ordered the Cucina Meatballs, three golf balls sized melt in your mouth meatballs floating in mascarpone polenta and spicy tomato sauce. What a great night of food, drink and camaraderie!!

    Fresh pastas, pizzas, and salads shine at this cozy Bib Gourmand winning establishment. Each dish we tried was filled with flavor, which took traditional dishes with which we were familiar (e.g., bucatini all'amatriciana) to the next level. Would absolutely recommend this spot for dining with family or friends.

    I have been a big fan of this restaurant for many years, but sadly, the quality of the food has gone downhill. Items that I used to get and loved are now just mediocre. I hope they can fix whatever problems is going on in the kitchen.
