Visiting from out of town for Mother’s Day and made the absolute right choice for an amazing dinner. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff is very attentive. With a whole page of different old fashions, I had to try one but a lot of bartenders don’t make them well and I’m usually disappointed, not today! I got the house old fashion and it was perfect, probably the best I’ve ever had. My mom got the Sangria and it looked gorgeous. It was white sangria with fruit and an herb, she didn’t share, remarked it was too big but somehow finished it! We both got catch of the day (grouper) and they kindly altered the dish to accommodate my food allergies. It was fantastic, one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Portions were perfect sized and quality was excellent. Dessert was also altered accommodate my allergies and was delicious too. What a lovely place!!

First time at Crush XI, but it won't be the last. The atmosphere is kind of comfortable funky, but not just a street bar level. We had a window table which was great to people watch. Service is great and the menu is diverse. If there was a downside to the food, it seems the chef is a bit heavy handed with salt. Other reviewers have also commented, and it seems a simple fix if someone would just step up to address it. More noticeable on fries/potatoes than entrees. Otherwise, just an enjoyable dinner!

It was Mothers Day at noon and they were already out of the French Toast which was a highlighted special item for the day. How does that even happen? Very disappointing…but the food that was delivered was fresh hot and delicous! They did nothing special for Mothers like a complimentary glass of champagne or a rose..Come on Crush Xl step up your act!

In my opinion it is the BEST place in Melbourne for an amazing food experience. Our waitress was knowledgeable, friendly and kind . All his suggestions were helpful and perfect. We tried the fish special and the pork chop . Also the crab cake ( best I tried) and carrot cake ice cream. Can’t wait to be back!!

The food, service and drinks were excellent!! But, it was so very noisy that we could barely have a conversation with our dinner guests. I had the shrimp and grits which were excellent and my friend had the swordfish and he said it was fantastic. This is a great place to go if you want good food and great drinks but if you really want to talk with your company, I would recommend booking later in the evening when the restaurant settles down or perhaps earlier. We went at 8 pm. Overall we definitely will come back.

We had reservations for our wedding anniversary and we were disappointed! We had been to Crush 11 many times and lived the ambiance and service. Unfortunately we were seated in the back banquet room, against the wall down the hallway. No ambiance at all and very noises. And there was a card on our table from Crush 11 for a "birthday" , nit "anniversary". We I told server she simply took card away. And because server highly recommended, I ordered the pork chop. I was disappointed. And another server brought the entrees ti the table and we had NO cutlery. We had to wave down our server to get it. We had anticipated a lovely evening but it was not!

Food was very good. Service was excellent. It is expensive and my only criticism is that it would have been nice to have a vegetable with the steak. It needed something green. Thank you.

We loved our experience at Crush XL. The food, cocktails, and service were some of the best in the county. Reese was incredibly knowledgeable about the restaurant and we will definitely be back.

Overall, not a bad place to have dinner. Everything was good. I had the burger which was pretty good. The caesar salad was fine. My date had the duck pasta, which was good. I tried it and expected to be wow'd b/c the name sounds so intriguing, but it was good. The service was ok. In general, a fine experience. I would go back for a burger if I was in the area again.

Side salads were really great with a lot of goodies in them; bacon, cheese, tomatoes, etc. I ordered the chicken with peanut sauce & it was delicious with a bit of a kick. My husband ordered the shrimp & grits which were good, but we’ve had better. The grits have parsnips in them which make them very creamy & unique. It’s a beautiful atmosphere if a little loud. Our server, Savannah, was absolutely wonderful & paid attention to the small details.

Absolutely the worst meal I have ever had. The food was so salty that it was inedible. When the server came to check on us we told her very politely that both of our dinners had so much salt on it that we could not eat it. She was very nice and apologized and said she would return it to have the chef make it again and will tell him to hold the salt. As we waited, the manager came over to apologize and asked us if we wanted a shot of alcohol on the house which was odd as we were drinking a beer and glass of champagne. She told us that the chef is heavy handed on the salt. Did not offer to pay for the one drink we were each drinking or even a desert. When the food came out for the second time, it was slightly less salty but we couldn’t eat it as it was still way over salted. We both left most of our food. A bill over $120 and we couldn’t eat it. We left and both of us felt terribly sick afterwards. To make it even worse, it was a birthday celebration.

Not only was the food amazing but our waiter, Reise, was extremely knowledgeable in the world of modern cuisine and walked us through every step of the process of how the food is made and how the drinks are crafted. This gave a really amazing insight to how Crush XI creates beautiful masterpieces of food and drink. I would highly recommend this to anyone planning of having more than just “a meal” but a dining experience!

We had not been to Crush XI since they moved from Cocoa to Melbourne but they were just as good as we remembered. The restaurant is comfortable with nice decor, although we were seated right in front of the kitchen, which detracted from the experience. The service and food were spectacular. The food is pricey but worth it for a special evening out. The portion size is perfect, not too big. We will definitely return.

They have quiet seating, energetic bar seating areas, The food was absolutely fantastic and the waitress was exceptional, knew the entire menu it seemed with fantastic recommendations on cocktails and food. The aesthetic of the restaurant was questionable in some area but overall a wonderful evening.

First and foremost, service is excellent. Our waiter Kurt, was well informed about all aspects of the menu including the cocktails and wines. The menu is just big enough: lots of choices but not so many that you suspect they can't manage it. All the food was served as ordered, well prepared and also looked nice on the plate. Portion sizes are just right. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Sent my steak back twice. They could not get it cooked properly. I ended up leaving with no dinner. The manager and staff did what they could. No complaints there.

Flatiron steak was very good but too much cumin overwhelmed the dish. Pork chop was excellent. Halibut was very good but sides were so-so. Excellent service and drinks. Music loop was very strange for this type of upper end restaurant. Overall good, would go back.
