Poor service. We were ignored by the server. Took 45 minutes to get a glass of wine. Never got our food. After over an hour of waiting, they said it was at least another 15 minutes. They weren't even that busy. The manager was rude. Other servers even noticed us with no food and no service

Beautiful night. We ate outside and each tried a flight of wine . The lobster potstickers and the ribs were excellent. Daphne.Was our server and was great! We were not rushed and it was a delightful experience

Great spot to sit outside when not hot to people watch the game attendees. A bit loud as it is near a DJ but very pleasant otherwise. Food good, wine list good .. service 100% !

Bring your own glass if it’s game day. Poor wine bar doesn’t even have enough glasses if they’re too busy. We were seated promptly for our 6:15 reservation. Ordered 2 flights but were informed we’d have to wait an hour b/c they didn’t have enough flight glasses. So, proceeded to order a glass of a couple different whites to start. Once again, no proper glasses and the two champagne flutes that arrived had beautiful lip marks. As one was being cleaned it broke, so we accepted the dirty flute for our white wine. The second glass came a good 30 mins later. Food was good though. Asked for the manager to see if we could turn our date night around and she wasn’t apologetic at all. Was kind enough to comp the experience but said it’s game day and that’s how it is. Waiter said it’s always a shoot show then. So, we packed up and went across to the Italian joint. What do you know, they had tons of glasses.

This is the second location I’ve visited and it’s the same as Avalon - good food and drinks, disappointing service.

Remember to check the baseball schedule! I booked Sunday - specifically for the brunch menu. When we get there, we're told by the server it's the "game day menu" only. We were disappointed but stayed. The food was good, but not the brunch we had our minds set on. There was no info on OpenTable that the menu, during brunch hours, would not be brunch.

the service was absolutely terrible. food was mediocre and cold. the manager only came to greet me and my party because she thought one of my guests dined and dashed but never came over when we had complaints about our meal. it’s giving racist. DO NOT eat here. there’s better places with better value and more competent staff.

They do not have a full bar - wine only - so no cocktails or mocktails. They were out of Coca-Cola, did not have decalf coffee. And they were out of three different menu items. Highly annoying. Service was good otherwise. It's a beautiful space.

I went for the best thing on the menu. THE MUSSELS! And they were gone! I am heartbroken. I always recommend and brought so many people there because I always say they the BEST mussels I ever tasted. Now i’m sad. Hopefully they bring the mussels back I’ll pay whatever their price is for them and so would so many other people.

Great location in the battery for people watching if you sit outside. The wine choices were plentiful! The food was good as well. You can get by by just getting a few appetizers to share.

Great place to eat at the Battery. Nice ambiance and the food and service were good. Good wine (Riesling) recommendations by our waiter. Loved that he allowed us to taste it before ordering!

When we arrived for an our rsvp we were not sat in-till 45 minutes later. Requested a table and received a high top instead which was tight spaced between tables. Disappointing and expected better.

I took my sister here for her birthday. It was our first time dining here. Our server was outstanding! He was very knowledgeable of the menu and offered great suggestions. Our food was outstanding. I had the scallops and my sister had the short ribs. I would recommend both. Both dishes were exceptional. The short rib was so tender. The misses were: Ambiance - it was too cold in the restaurant. I had to put my coat back on and I noticed that two tables also were dining in their coats. Drinks - we didn't have any alcoholic beverages. I ordered a coke, and it was very flat. Our server promptly replaced it with a tea, but the tea tasted more like an instant tea, it didn't taste like brewed tea. Here in the south, we know good tea! For dessert, we shared a lava cake. It was served with ice cream and topped with a raspberry sauce. The raspberry coulis was not good and the dessert does NOT need it. One additional tip - allocate time to find parking. I parked in the red deck, which is close proximity to the restaurant. Parking on the street is extremely limited.

The server was awesome! She presented the menu nicely and even picked up that we were not going to be drinking alcohol very quickly(it gets awkward sometimes). She was attentive but not over bearing. And anticipated our needs very professionally. Everything about the place was amazing. But the food, did not wow me at all. I got the salmon medium and it was medium-well/well. The asparagus was dry and cooked to death(possibly parcooked, but not sous vide), and the brussels tasted to have pretty much zero seasoning. I switched plates with my girlfriend as she likes her salmon like that. She got the short rib. Which was good, the rissoto was pretty stiff but the flavor was there. I'll definitely come back and try again maybe when it's not as busy.

We enjoyed 2 wine flights. The server was excellent at providing wine that liked. We also had the charcuterie and several small plates. The meatballs were excellent

The ambiance is so beautiful, I love the flights, the server was amazing, and the food was excellent. The scallops and salmon were amazing dishes. If you are looking for a place to have a nice wine dinner for a date or with friends, this is the place.

Appetizers were great, filet & potatos luke warm. Was requested by server to save utensils for other courses. Service slow between courses, At these prices, expected better.

Delicious food and the wine selection was great! It is a bit noisy but didn’t bother us. Will return. Highly suggest making reservations. It was so busy that those that didn’t have reservations had to wait 1-2 hours.

What a fun girl’s night out! Our server was Ritzzy and she did an excellent job…she was waiting on so many tables! Food was yummy, especially the truffle pizza and the short rib as we all did a little sharing and those two items got rave comments. We’ll be back!

I’ve been here a few times and the menu always appears to be lacking in terms of selection and they always seem to be out of at least one thing. I’m also a little underwhelmed by the wine selection. That said, service was really great.

We went during the week . It wasn’t busy. We ordered 2 appetizers and was told they didn’t have 1 (potstickers)so we jus settled for the 1. (Calamari)It took awhile to come out then while eating it we noticed it was missing the peppers . Our server didn’t come back till we were done eating and I asked about the peppers and was told we ran out. I’m confused why they didn’t inform me before ordering and why they’re out of so much items on a Saturday. We ordered scallops and filet mignon that was good along with a wine flight . Only issue was first plate of filet mignon wasn’t cooked as ordered and they took it back because they gave us someone else’s order by mistake . All in all it’s a nice atmosphere jus a bit slow on service .

My date and I had a fantastic time at Cru! The wine flights are all put together so well and clearly a lot of thought has been put in to the presentation and pairings. Our server Leslie was excellent. The only negative that I could say is that the margherita pizza was a bit underwhelming. Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend for a date night.

First time at Crú and it was wonderful! The bartender Aiden was a sweetheart and really made for a great experience! Food was amazing and the wine flights are such a great way to try a few different wines. Will be coming back without a doubt.

The truffle potato au gratin was truly terrible. Tasted like somebody peeled a potato, forgot to cook it and arranged it neatly on my plate. I know the difference between al dente and RAW. The filet I ordered cooked medium, arrived to our table obviously RARE and the truffle fondue we ordered was just ok. Our wine and service were both outstanding, I believe Lindsey took care of us. We researched this restaurant, drove 2.5 hrs for an event and were excited about dining at Crú. Very disappointing. It really bothers me leaving a review like this but it bothers me more to not be honest.

We had a reservation for 6p. We requested to sit on the patio since the weather was perfect. Service was fairly prompt, lacked a little follow up at times, but overall good. The wine flights were unavailable at the time, so we opted for a bottle of Malbec, which was perfectly chilled at the time of service. The food was fantastic. We got the truffle cheese fondue which came with several interesting dipping options (apple, roasted brussel sprouts, roasted butternut squash). We also opted for The Butcher pizza which was very well cooked with plenty of meat on it. We also went with the mussels which were served in a perfectly balanced and delicious garlic, white wine, lemon broth. This was certainly a dining experience that I would highly recommend.

The service was great and the food was good as well. It’s just the selection of adult beverages is way too limited to be near the ball park. Needs more beer and a full assortment of liquor.
