Cripple Creek Steakhouse is a family-owned restaurant that has been proudly serving the community for over 25 years. The idea of this establishment was copied from the original Cripple Creek Saloon, in Cripple Creek, Colorado; an old gold-mining town in the 1800s. We specialize in steak, seafood, appetizers and hand crafted cocktails. We proudly serve all Certified Angus Beef for our steaks, chops and burgers and we cook on an open flame with mesquite firewood. We strive to provide a unique dining experience and a comfortable, inviting atmosphere. Come join us at Cripple Creek Steakhouse for a meal you won't soon forget!

Waitress was great, food came out quick just wish the fried catfish had more flavor to it, but the mahi-mahi plate was amazing that my gf had! Overall good experience!

Our first visit was about 10 years ago and we looked forward to re-visiting after 6 1/2 hours of driving. BUSY place—so glad we placed a reservation. BUSY—and we can see why: Good food, GREAT service (Edgar!).

I highly recommend reservations as they get busy and in the notes I put birthday. The staff came out with a dessert and sparkler. We didn’t get apps as we planned on getting desserts. Dinners came with salad. We got the NY steak, grilled chicken, chicken fried steak. Everything was delish!!!!!

Was our first time visiting and we had a great experience from the moment we walked in. Had reservations and they seated us almost immediately. Staff was so awesome with helping us celebrate my mothers 85th birthday, they really made my mother feel so special. The steak was one of the best , it was really tender and cooked to perfection.

Servers were friendly, décor was classic west Texas, steaks were perfectly cooked. The draft beer was served in a frosted mug. My pinot noir was room temperature which meant it was too warm. Maybe next time I'll request a frosted mug for my wine.

Overall, super pleased. It was super hot & there was a lot of noise & it took at lease 5-8 minutes to receive our drinks. However the food was amazing, our waiter was amazing. So when it cools off we will definitely be back

Easy to make reservations online through Open Table app. When we arrived we were immediately seated. Tables are slightly crowded, could use a little more “chair room”. Our waitress was very friendly, quick to serve and return for refills and cleaning off plates. Service with a smile was greatly appreciated. We are frequent customers at Cripple Creek. The one and only great family restaurant in Del Rio.

The food is fantastic especially their steaks. Their mozzarella sticks are satisfyingly the right size and wonderfully ooey gooey; however, as much as i like that the batter is crispy but not rock hard, i wish they would put more seasoning in the batter. Their salads are fresh, and my husband says they have the best blue cheese dressing. He’s right it’s not heavy handed with the blue cheese. I want a slight flavor of blue cheese so that i enjoy the splash of the greens! Tht roll is wonderful and so is the baked potatoe. The servers are great; sometimes they seem to be working as a team. Matteo was terrific bringing whatever we requested!! And we celebrated our 43rd wedding anniversary ( do we got the roman candle sparkler chocolate cakew/ ice cream and whipped cream and snappy happy b’day song! Cripple Creek is an awesome place to celebrate! Great evening!!
