Le Crave Fishbar sert des fruits de mer pêchés localement dans un cadre sophistiqué et agréable. Ce bar-restaurant engagé dans une démarche éco-responsable propose des ingrédients de saison et bio si possible, dans le respect de la vie marine en particulier. Il entretient de solides relations avec les pêcheurs de Long Island grâce à son restaurant sœur, le South Edison de Montauk dans l'État de New York, et c'est aussi le seul partenaire de NYC avec le Monterey Bay Aquarium, à l'avant-garde nationale dans la préservation de l'océan. L'établissement propose un #oystergram happy hour 7j/7 de 16h00 à 18h00 avec des huîtres de la côte est et ouest à 1 USD l'unité. Vous pourrez y déguster des cocktails maison et des bières artisanales ainsi que des vins servis à la tireuse dans une ambiance festive. La carte des vins comporte essentiellement des vins recherchés, proposés à des prix abordables. Tous les pains et desserts sont préparés quotidiennement sur place.

Delicious good, great ambience and, most of all, our waitress Jacqueline was amazing. Jacqueline was extremely attentive without being overbearing, she was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and helped put together two separate orders of a dozen oysters, which tasted utterly delightful and perfectly fit our taste profiles. My date and I could not be happier. Thank you, Jacqueline—we will be back!!!

Great meal with dear friends only made tricky by the shrill woman sitting at an adjacent table loud and drunk about an arm's length away. I will opt for a different seating area next time.

We went there thinking oysters and drinks were on happy hour. The website is a little confusing as the midtown location has happy hour until 7pm and the uws location has it until 6pm. We went to the uws location at 6:15pm so happy hour was already over. I'll pay closer attention next time. However, all of the food was wonderful as was the service and ambiance.

Food was very good. Service was excellent. Someone in a negative review I read said it was extremely loud… it was not at all! And we were next to the bar. I would highly recommend Crave Fishbar and we will be going back.

We've been dining at Crave since it's opening and marvel at the same level of excellence it has maintained over the years. Especially enjoyed the unique take on fried calamari, surprisingly blown away by the cauliflower soup, fish tacos and, on this last visit, the salmon tostada. Special shout out to the service and the greeting from Maria at the front is always a warm way to begin your dining experience.

The noise factor in the dining room is so off putting that we will not be returning. The food was fresh and well prepared. Oysters, outstanding. T'is a shame some soundproofing can't be installed that would mitigate the situation. We have been coming to Crave for years, off and on. Trying and redtrying, hoping for a relaxing dinner. But truly it's impossible to enjoy a meal when the conversations from surrounding tables intrude.

First time there and we thought it was great. Our server at the bar Aliya was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive and the food and drinks were excellent and fairly priced. We will return.

The food was delish and the drinks were excellent. Our server Maya was fantastic. Highly recommend the warm crab sushi roll and the Miso Honey glazed Baramundi. The carrot cake from Magnolia was ok, but had a bit of a refrigerated flavor and while not terrible it was not as good as expected. Overall highly recommend!

Forget Grand Central Oyster Bar. CRAVE on the UWS is THE place to eat oysters in Manhattan. This spot has a very good variety but the difference is: its "oyster sommelier" has described them so well on the menu that it's much easier to put together a tasting for yourself than at other oyster bars. Even compared to Maine, where I live half the year, this aspect makes eating oysters much more fun. And they are delicious. Plus, the general manager has attracted a friendly staff, committed to sustainability, who volunteer at the Billion Oyster Project. All oyster shells at Crave are recycled. (By the way, the yellow fin tuna with Mexican corn is flavorful and delicious!)

Went for happy hour on a Thursday. Every dish was delicious, and the whole experience perfect - and affordable! Can’t beat $1.5 fresh oysters!

I love coming to Crave, Ialways ask for the Barramundi fish with the garlic chive grilled rice. I really enjoyed crave fishbar

Always lovely, great staff, knowledgeable and friendly and the oysters are always super fresh. Great wine choices, who could ask for anything more?
