This was our second visit and the food was delicious! We are picky meat eaters but the quality was outstanding as well as the preparation. We have consistently experienced excellent service as well. Portions don’t look big, but the food is filling. So, don’t let your eyes fool you. My family really enjoys eating here.

Loved the Queso Fundido with Brisket! Brisket tacos were great too! Wow that was Amazing! Looking forward to having that again! Malika waited on our table and was adorable. Great service!

Food was delicious, really good BBQ, best brisket by far. Sort of bad smell by bar area at the entrance, perhaps they are used to the smell but it’s the first thing you experience when you walk in. Side dishes are on the small side if you are wanting to share. I would go back for the brisket.

For BBQ the meat was dry and tasteless. The cocktails didn’t taste good and the ambience is just ok. Not worth the money in my opinion.

The food was very good and the service at the beginning was wonderful! After we received our food our server disappeared a bit and we couldn’t get refills, which is not a huge issue but a pretty lengthy amount of time went by and we were finished eating but could not find our server to pay for our meal.

Mixed reviews from our table - - -large piece of Salmon and large baked potato were delicious, however the Brisket plate was two slices of very dry cold meat, no sauce, with pickles, sliced red jalapeño type peppers, pickled onions and a small cornbread. Kinda disappointing.

My family all got various dishes (Brisket, Tri-tip, Tibeye, Brisket fries) and we all loved the food and portions. Gery great service and I came out full with some leftovers. Would definitely go here again.

Food was great. We ordered the family platter to feed 3-4 and the portion I thought was fair. We also ordered the brisket nachos and although they were tasty the portion size on this was tiny. For $17 it was too small. The metal tray it came out on the nachos only covered about 1/3 of the pan. There was about 3oz of brisket. Would not order these again for the value. Even though we enjoyed the food, the service was a 5 at best. When we arrived around 5 for a 5:15 reservation it took about 10 minutes for someone to even greet us by the host table. There were plenty of employees around but almost felt like they pretended not to see us and another group of 3 waiting before us to be checked in the by the host. When the host finally did come around, no mention of the long wait before greeting us or how no one had acknowledged either party. Next, our server was slow. The manager had to come over to take our food order and our second round of drinks for our party. It was like she didn’t want to earn a tip. Our bill came out to be around $260 for the 4 of us without tip. Was not happy to see the 3% service fee they add on top of the bill especially because of how poor their customer service was. Our food was about half that bill and cocktails were the other half. A few of us in the party even wanted to order another round of drinks and it as like she was confused when we conveyed that and she came back and brought or bill. I guess she didn’t want to sell us anything more! Based on customer service or lack of we will not be back before an angels game.

Fantastic place to eat, dishes are creative and taste as good as they look, it’s a delicate balance. Service was prompt and friendly, I spend a lot of time dining out, and this place really hit high marks with me. The patio area would be a perfect date ambience. The brisket tacos are where it’s at!

Out of most beers, and down to only 1 option during our meal on a Tuesday. Shrimp app was just 6 smallish fried shrimp and some sauce dreaded on a large plate - the dish left a little something to be desired. Meat Platters pricey, but good.

After a disappointing attempt at the Arcadia restaurant, Anaheim changed my mind. Service was good, food was great except the short rib. Very fatty. Sides were small for the price but delicious. Our server Maria was great. Overall, we'd come back

Too busy. Had a reservation, took 15 minutes to get seated, another 10 minutes for our drink order, another 10 minutes for him to come back and take our order, still hasn’t brought the drinks we ordered.. so we got up and left. Terribly busy, terribly loud and terribly serviced. Either only seat the guest you can properly attended to or don’t seat them at all.

So disappointed. We have been exploring new bbq places so we’re excited to try this place out. It wasn’t too crowded but the wait to order drinks and food was long. My husband decided to go to the bar because his drink took so long to come and the waitress just kept saying it was coming. Then his food came out ten minutes before mine so he was completely finished with his meal before mine even came to the table. I had asked for ketchup and Dijon mustard to come with my burger. And aioli that normally comes on it to come on the side. It arrived with just the aioli and when I tried to tell the waitress she tried to tell me that was the mustard which I told her it was not. Then they brought out ketchup and honey mustard and told me it was Dijon and I said no it wasn’t to which the waitress said oh yeah we don’t have Dijon only honey mustard. Who wants honey mustard on a burger??? The mashed potatoes were totally average. The burger itself would have been good if it arrived as I had asked for it and on time. We definitely won’t be going back.

Service was great. Our server was friendly and she was great at her job. Food was ok. Had the brisket, good flavor but a little overcooked. Mac n cheese and the Brussels sprouts were really good. Also had a bowl of chilli, little greasy. Dog friendly so that was great. Good experience overall.

Great restaurant. The food was very good… ordered a harvest salad and some sandwiches. The salad was ok… very skimpy on the toppings… just a lot of lettuce. Sandwiches and kids chicken strips were awesome!

I was there for a late lunch so no noise. Food was yummy, service was good. My two big complaints are: I parked in the wrong structure (there are two adjacent lots, I parked in the more western lot) and had to pay $9 for parking! The restaurant was pricy ($7 for a small side of Mac and Cheese seems exorbitant) so this left a bad taste in my mouth . The chairs are not at all comfortable. Especially if you have a bootie. Which you’ll definitely have if you eat here with any regularity! I’ll request a booth next time.

I have had the food at other Smoke and Fire store before. The food is pretty much exactly the same but with a few more offerings and a full menu of cocktails. We came for what was advertised as the Easter BBQ buffet. I was surprised to hear they were serving all you can eat beef ribs, smoked brisket, tri tip, pozole, chilaquiles, and other breakfast offerings. For $45 it sounded like a great value. Buffet was set up in chaffing dishes. Most dishes had no fuel canisters under them or canisters that were no longer on. The chafing dishes weren’t covered ever either. Everything was room temperature or colder. The breakfast eggs, the french toast, the biscuits and gravy were all cold. The tri tip, ribs, and brisket was cooked perfectly though. However the rub used was primarily salt, very little sugar or other spices, so it was a struggle to eat one rib in it’s entirety. I noticed this with the brisket at their other stores too, but it usually isnt as noticeable because its usually ordered stuffed into a potato, or mixed in bowl of mac n cheese. So my advice to those going for brunch, hold off on it until they fix things and just order off their regular menu. On the bright side the waiter was very attentive and wanted feedback from us since the brunch buffet is a new experience that they have just begun. We told him the food was cold and he apologized. In retrospect though he probably should have comped us a meal since it wasn’t as if we were wrong about it. Usually they’re good at giving out freebies here too, so I was a bit surprised.

I have to admit I was a bit skeptical, this seems like the kind of place that's all looks. And my skepticism increased when all of our dishes came out super fast. But, thankfully, wow!!! Craft delivered, we had a super nice dinner! Three of us shared the lamb chops, beef short rib, and brisket, as well as brocollini and waffle fries, and street corn. They were all great. The lamb chops and short ribs were the standouts. The lamb was super tender and the chimichurri was fresh and a great herbal pop with the meat. The short rib was fork-tender, and very juicy. The broccolini was roasted nice and crisp! Worth the slight up charge. The street corn was maybe the most forgettable among all the dishes. Oh wait we also had the churro ice cream sandwich. That was skippable. The beer list was short but ample. We didn't get a chance to try the cocktails but they looked good on the menu. Our server was super mellow, but behind that super organized! He even brought by some shots of pineapple vodka for no apparent reason, But no complaints!

Was in town for a couple of days and wanted to try something different. Restaurant is very popular with the young crowd. Opted a BBQ MAC: massive short rib, brisket, double patty burger and cheese in between two slices of Texas toast. Huge sandwich! Very flavorful. My partner had the pastrami, short rib, and sausage combo. Both were excellent..lots of food for our tummies. Delectable and scrumptious mud pie to end the meal. Restaurant has great VIBE and reasonable prices. Our server is Pm B, stellar service. Waitstaff was attentive and efficient.

Amazing, Tender, Fiery Wood Tasting Delicious flavors. This is what brisket should taste. No need to soak it in generic BBQ. Sides were amazing looking, beautiful and delicious.

Sadly, what we used to order was no longer on the menu. We really enjoyed the street corn but it’s NLA. And the steak with chimichurri was gone also. Service was a little slow getting started, but food delivery was fine. We won’t be rushing back now.

I was surprised by our negative experience given the reviews. Clever names and decor but the service and food was lackluster. Also poor selection of wines. The queso fundido appetizer was good but our entrees were mediocre. The tri tip lacked flavor and the Brussels sprouts were not cooked. The corn bread was all crumbled when we got it and the Mac and cheese wasn’t good. The Nashville chicken was tasty. Our waiter was overwhelmed and didn’t even ask if we wanted another round or really check on us. We got out of there quickly and went to the wine bar down the block which was amazing with superior service. Needless to say, don’t recommend and we won’t be back. Also very noisy and college crowd. The family’s with kids I am sure we’re surprised. But again, I am a barbecue snob and compare all my barbecue to Texas.

First time at this place, the ambiance was great gives you a semi luxury vibe. Like the mix drink menu based on celebrities, and menu has a variety of selection.

Our server was great, the food was delicious. prices are reasonable , big portions. We were seated within 5-10 min. of our arrival (we had a reservation) we got our food fast.
