Truly awful. We were the only table in the restaurant at sunset which was already a warning. We had the crab legs which were so tasteless I assume they've been boiling since Christmas. With less than half eaten we gave up. Lots of staff sitting around in their phones and the whole experience was uncomfortable. Avoid at all costs!

Gabriel was our server & he was awesome! Very attentive & friendly! Food (surf & turf & lobster dinners) was really good, but very expensive. $106 USD a plate. Restaurant is at a marina where you can watch the beautiful Cancún sunset. Everything was wonderful other than it was very expensive

Gabriel was an excellent server. He had great recommendations and paid special attention to our 25tg wedding anniversary. We had oysters Rockefeller and they were amazing. The seafood medley with steamed vegetables and rice was perfect.

My wife and I spent our 25th wedding anniversary in March of 2014 in Cancun and dined at two wonderful restaurants across the street from the Marriott All Inclusive Resort (then the Marriott Casa Manga), one of those establishments was the Crab House. We recently returned for our 35th anniversary, and the Crab House did not disappoint! We shared our meals, and ate the following delicious dinner. Appetizer: Last time we dined here we had a delectable dish — “Guacamole de Langos: Lobster guacamole served with lime (no shortages here), tomatoes and lettuce.” I was initially exceptionally disappointed that it was not on the menu, but was exceedingly pleased with the replacement: Crab House Guacamole Served with a small Stone Crab's claw. Guacamole prepared with olive oil, tomato, onion and lime. The crab meat was not only incorporated into the dish, but large slices were served on top of the large portion of really fresh guacamole ("fresh" is the operative theme here). Shared Entrees-Alaskan King Crab: Succulent King Crab legs! You can enjoy them hot or cold, prepared with clarified butter and a Mexican garlic sauce which enhances their flavor. Rockefeller Lobster: This was the most unique offering I think I’ve ever eaten—here we go: Lobster tail cooked with spinach, parmesan cheese and gouda cheese, served with a wonderful linguine parmesan cheese sauce pasta. Oysters Rockefeller on steroids(LOL). Rich but deliciously flavorful. (I am so glad I listened to my wife and ventured beyond my usual Oysters Rockefeller). Stone Crab: Freshly cracked Jumbo crab claws served hot or cold (we opted for cold which I recommend) prepared with their unique sauce which the call “Coleman sauce” and clarified butter—the best Stone Crab Claws I have ever had anywhere-even Joe's Stone Crab & Steaks in Miami & Chicago. Dessert: For dessert we ordered their premium roasted coffee with authentic Mexican Fried Ice Cream—this was the real deal! Service. The service was exceptional

One of our favorites for years, unfortunately the quality of the food and menu has dropped along with the services while prices have seemed to double in the past 2 years. Needs a big change to compete with the new locations just steps away who have stepped up their game .

We had one of what will be my most memorable dining experiences, sitting next to the water eating crab and oysters with table side prepared Mayan coffees. Gabriel was our server and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We went on Valentines Day. This was my second time going (first for my girlfriend) service and food were great just like the first time (4 years apart). We sat out on the water, great view.

My husband and I enjoyed the food and the environment very much. The service was very good as well. However, when it came time to pay our bill, we were unaware that 15% gratuity was already tacked on our bill. The waiter asked if we wanted to tip 10% and of course we said sure! Not knowing we ALREADY tipped 15%. My husband felt rushed with his payment and didn’t feel like he could look at the bill. This is definitely the reason we will not be back to the Crab House; which is a shame. You really do have wonderful food, atmosphere, and service. One suggestion…allow the customer to actually see the bill and explain what it says. Other restaurants have done this and we appreciate that.

Had a great experience at this restaurant, we ate outside to overlook the water but it was a little hot so our server Gabriel moved us to a table with a fan. The food was absolutely delicious, a little pricey but very good. The margarita flight was good but wish I had ordered a regular drink. I highly recommend the Rock Shrimp, Fried Shrimp wrapped in bacon and Lobster/Steak fajitas.

My husband and I went for NYE 2023. We had a great table on the water but our server was inattentive and slow. Food was significantly overpriced for what we received so much so my husband didn’t even eat and we had a $400 bill. Very disappointing. Went to Puerto Madero the next day and it was fabulous!!!

Used open table, showed up and they didn’t have our reservation despite a series if texts earlier from the restaurant to confirm we were coming. Sat us in a corner at a crummy table. Dinner was fixed menu , quality was mediocre at best considering the price. $1700 USD for five adults. My bad for staying, but it was NYE and we had nowhere else to go.

The ambiance was fantastic, the DJ was spectacular! The food was pretty good, but for the price, was a bit lacking. The service was good, but they seemed a bit rushed and understaffed. I would return for sure, but room for improvement :)

The dinner on the river walk was amazing. Was Ching the sun set was beautiful. Our servers were caring and welcoming. We were there for two hours waiting to Alaskan King Crab legs. When we got the one crab leg cut in half, it was cold so were the vegetables. We bought a half of pound and maybe it was, but it sure didn’t feel like it! No pictures as I was very shocked! The tables around us arrived after us and they got there food way before us. We were not satisfied, very disappointing to say the least.

This was a great birthday experience ! I had such a great time! Service was beyond what I was expecting! The staff really took care of me and my friend! We had a blast! I definitely recommend! The food was great! Steak was cooked how I asked and it was nice juicy and flavorful! So was the lobster and pasta!! We were so full we didn’t get to have dessert but there will be a next time!! The food was marginal for the price. We’ve had much better meals for the same price with better atmosphere and lively entertainment at some of the more popular restaurants in Cancun. We thought we’d give it a try and have decided not to go back.

Service was top tier. We had such a good time celebrating my birthday. Food was fresh and delicious, ambience was amazing, complimentary birthday cake from our waiter. I recommend crab house Cancun for all occasions

Bad experience, the food, the crab is frozen, the smell that comes out of the bathrooms is horrible and it makes you want to eat.

The lobster tail was severely over cooked likely since it was old as you could tell by the tail shell being quite aged and dry/brown at thee joints. Quite a costly place for the quality of food. It was much better before the remodel
