Upon entering the restaurant, guests can peer into the Butcher Shop through a glass wall. This is where the steaks are personally selected, cut, and branded for you. This expertly maintained, climate-controlled environment also features dry-age coolers and pink Himalayan salt brick walls where 100% U.S.D.A. primal cuts are aged between 21 - 28 days for extra flavor.

The atmosphere was great. The drinks were decent. The calamari was great. The steaks were okay cooked more than we wanted them to be and mine was a little burnt but the flavor was good.

This was the first time being at Council Oak. I took my Mom for Mother's Day. We had a party of 4. We enjoyed the Prime Rib 3-course dinner and it was nothing short of fantastic! We also added on the macaroni and cheese because we heard it was awesome and it did not disappoint! Every course was perfectly prepared and delicious. Seasoned great. Each person in our party felt exactly the same way. I will definitely return to Council Oak in the future and have already told several people about our experience. The service was wonderful. Very attentive. Never felt like we were waiting or wanting for anything. Wonderful experience all around.

We have dined here many times but this visit & the "new" menu were not up to expectations. There was a long delay from the time we ordered to when our main courses were served - about 45 mins. The table next to us came in much later, had 4 people and still were served their meals before ours came. Both our entrees an 11oz filet and the newly added pork chop were dry. The wild rice side served with the pork shop was flavorless. The beignets were crisp on the outside but some of the interiors were under cooked. Our previous visits have been very good so this is probably just in response to the menu changes.

We had a wonderful dining experience! Justin, our server was just on point and fulfilled our every need. Our food was absolutely delicious and can’t think of any to complain about. We ordered the Calamari appetizer, Lobster Bisque (exceptional!), Caesar salad, Petite Filet with a loaded baked potato side, Braised Short Rib (Exceptional), 2 cocktails, 2 cappuccino and a monstrous slices of Carrot cake, all of which were amazing! We were truly impressed by all of it being under $200.00 making it a value we will return to experience again. The Restaurant was very clean and managed very well. We also appreciated the manager stopping by to ask how everything went. Truly our best experience in a restaurant for a very long time.

Celebrated a friends Birthday dinner. Staff was more than accommodating when we had to change number of people for the reservation. Our sever was fantastic and the rest of the staff was really great. If you want a good steak meal w/ impeccable service Council Oak Steak & Seafood @ Hard Rock is the place to go.

Awesome restaurant. Council Oaks has created the dining experience that you find in Tahoe and Las Vegas, only it's close to home. The Restaurant Manager Jose stopped by our table and talked about the menu changes and current specials. Again it's an awesome dining experience that we don't have to travel to enjoy.

Value was poor, over $600 for four people, for food that was just not worth it. Service was good, except I did have to ask for a soft drink and then a refill after my glass being empty for a significant amount of time. Ordered my steak Medium, it was rare, covered in salt, and extremely chewy, I had to politely spit out multiple bites. This was a $60 steak mind you at a steakhouse known for their steak…. I also ordered fries which were so soggy and raw tasting. The Mac and cheese was so runny and had zero flavor. My $13 Caesar salad was small and tasted sour with about 5 stale croutons. Father in laws steak was overdone, husbands and MILs lobster was chewy. Husband’s mashed potatoes were not creamy and smooth but lumpy and no flavor. Needless to say we had many leftovers for the dogs at home. At least they enjoyed it. It was also extremely loud and not even busy.

I was very unhappy about the menu on line that stated that there were 30$ specials on Wednesdays and Thursdays. There are none. I’ve gone twice now to take advantage of this deal, the first time there was a co cert, so they don’t serve that on concert nights, the second time the server said they were not doing it anymore. So upset, because we had brought friends too! We ended up just getting a salad. I won’t go back.
