Join us on either the 9th or the 16th of June and enjoy our Father’s Day à la Côte menu with a complimentary bottle of Meteor beer for Dad. Enjoy a sharing board of Sirloin steak, Confit Pork Belly and Chicken, alongside plenty of sides for £25 per person.

At Côte in Edinburgh , it seems they’ve redefined culinary disappointment cultivating a unique dining experience which fosters fear for each morsel of food one tastes. The dishes were mediocre at best, arriving more than 40 minutes after our order and all at once as if the chef was in a hurry to leave. Some dishes were colder than his heart, as he was shouting to one of the young female servers. The wine, advertised as a Malbec, arrived warmer than the sun shining in Lawrence of Arabia and oxidized enough to clean up the hull of the Titanic. The beef cheek was the lone survivor in this gastronomic graveyard, but even that couldn’t save the evening. Overall, it was a dining experience that left me wondering if the chef's specialty is dashed hopes and unmet expectations. Disappointing doesn't even begin to cover it. Nothing compared to Côte in Marylebone.

We were a large party and had a separate dining area upstairs. Overall our food was tasty and reasonable value for money. However, the staff were exceptional. Very accommodating with all our requirements, including late arrivals. They couldn’t have done more. Thank you. Part of the restaurant is upstairs, so people with mobility issues be aware!

Our waiter, Ricardo, was excellent. The dining room and ambience were great. Low marks for the steaks, one rib-eye and one sirloin, which were both approximately one-third gristle/fat/tendon. Diane sauce was a bit lumpy. Fries were nice, but the steak is the star of the show, hence the low score.

Very welcoming service. The Fish Pie and Moules Frites was really tasteful and the ambience makes a nice autenthic French bistro-feeling in a nice area of the city!

Service was very slow, got order of steak wrong had to send starter back. Manger wasn’t very pleasant to talk to

What a fabulous and varied restaurant. Low lights, sunlight, the atrium area was perfect for lunch with my friend. Terrific welcome at 1pm and attentive service throughout. The food itself was impeccable. Lightly seasoned, spot on 👌 Would highly recommend and will be back as soon as I can! Merci encore et a bientot. Ellie
