Really extensive menu and good selection of drinks We went at 6 in the evening Very busy waited for 20 minutes for our booked table to be seated so twenty minutes late Service slow but good friendly staff

We decided on dinner at this restaurant after a long travel day from the US. It was a convenient location and a value price point. Overall I think the restaurant was what we expected from the reviews. Good, but not stellar. We were a party of 3. We arrived about 45 mins before the kitchen closed so we were patient with the staff as they were preparing for close. With that said, we were not rushed, our waiter was gracious and the courses were properly timed. We had the baguette with butter. Bread was warm and really good. We also had the warm olives and the calamari. My daughter loves calamari and gave it a 7 out of 10. I had the French onion soup, which had a nice flavor, but was warm rather than hot. Given the hour I didn't want to send it back and despite the temperature I did enjoy the soup. For entrees we had the steak frites. The steak was ok. The temperature was perfect, but it could have been more flavorful. The French fries were perfect and really tasty. The best dish, however, was the pork belly. It came over cabbage with scalloped potatoes on the side. It was really excellent. For dessert we had the strawberry mess ... it was different ... I didn't love the meringue bits, but that is a personal preference. The flavor was nice. I just wish it had more of the fruit. Overall a decent meal. I don't know that I would make it a destination for dinner, but it perfectly fit our needs after 10 hours of travel.

Sadly breakfast was distinctly average, didn’t enjoy 50%. Quite greasy. Great value menu - but wouldn’t be returning in a flash.

Food was sub-par compared to food we have regularly at Cote in Bluewater.

We ate in a Sunday evening and it was fairly quiet. Service was prompt and courteous. We ordered the sharing meal at £25 per person which was fine.

Very good Gluten Free options. It's a busy restaurant so allow plenty of time if booking pre-theatre.

I ordered a starter and the main was bought out about 5 mins later. When we mentioned this we were told it was a sharing plate? Not sure what that has to do with it. My friend ordered the salmon and I ordered the fish pie. The fish pie was hot, small and over cooked. It came with just a garnish of parsley. Terrible presentation. My friends salmon was not hot. She sent it back and the 2nd was also not hot so she ended up just eating chips for dinner. When we left another server asked us about our meal. She was appalled at the level of service and said she would be in contact with my friend. Having eaten at This restaurant chain before, I was totally underwhelmed by the experience and food here.

We were disappointed that they didn't have confit duck yesterday. Beef cheek, Ribeyes and tomato salad were delicious
