Join us on either the 9th or the 16th of June and enjoy our Father’s Day à la Côte menu with a complimentary bottle of Meteor beer for Dad. Enjoy a sharing board of Sirloin steak, Confit Pork Belly and Chicken, alongside plenty of sides for £25 per person.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Choice of food was excellent and I was very happy with my choice of cheese soufflé and beef cheek bourguignon, both very tasty and the beef cheeks were very tender. Accompanied by a lovely cote du Rhone which went down a treat. Looking forward to revisiting.

There was a singer performing presumably to pull people in because it was the Races but he was far too loud and drowned out our conversation over dinner. Food was ok but wished we known as would have booked elsewhere.

A very good evening with family. Several of us had the set menu which was very good value and included a good selection of dishes so there was something for everyone and it included a glass of fizz! All the food was excellent. The food was a little slow in being served but the restaurant was very busy. We would have preferred a little less time waiting but overall a nice experience.

It was a last minute booking , and the restaurant was incredibly accommodating. The lady who greeted us was outstanding very polite, friendly ,very professional and just all round lovely. The gentleman who served was again so friendly and polite. The meal was lovely to really good quality cuisine. I cannot recommend this restaurant in Chester enough !! I would definitely return . Thank you

Absolutely fabulous evening celebrating my birthday. The food was perfect, served quickly, the service team were lovely and friendly and showed excellent knowledge of the menu. My friend had belly pork it was stupendous, her partner had Paillard salad and totally enjoyed it, my modules and writes were perfect reminding me of times in Belgium. Thoroughly enjoyable evening. We went back for lunch again today.

Great service lovely atmosphere and good food. Slight problem with overdone fillet but quickly sorted with another medium rare one which was excellent.

Our waitress was very helpful and charming, responding very well to our needs including those of two young boys aged 6 and 8. Food and wine of usual good standard.

We were celebrating my wife's 60th birthday and we wanted to try a French restaurant and we were not disappointed, great vibe and great food. Will book again next time we are in Chester.

I like the food but i do not like they gorce you to pay the service charge. They present it as being optional but if you choose not to pay it they do not like it. The service could be better. I had to ask for water multiple times. Then i asked to take away the food and they said they do not have a box or even foil. I then asked napkins and the waiter laughed sarcastically. I did not appreciate his attitude. A bit rude.

Favourite restaurant in Chester, food alway top class. When visiting other cities alway try to find a Cote eatery.

Dreadfully slow delivery spoilt a nice meal. Orders taken promptly on arrival, starters came in sensible time ... waited over an hour for main course to come, and that was only after we chased up for it. There are much more satisfying places for a good meal in Chester. The food was nice enough but we were so hungry by the time it arrived we couldn't take time to enjoy it. We won't be back.

Had the most amazing time with the lovely staff at Cote in Chester. It was my disabled dad’s 82nd birthday. The lovely chap who escorted us to the upper restaurant was so helpful. The beautiful super model looking Spanish lady was so kind to my dad, not just service but she was also such fun. Anton our waiter from the Ukraine was fantastic company too, attentive and really interesting. We will be back soon! Thank you all so much for looking after us.

Our first outing to Côte, after getting boxes from Côte at Home during lockdown. It exceeded our expectations- easy booking through Open Table when visiting Chester, nice ambiance, really welcoming staff and great food. Absolutely happy to recommend.

The menu prices and amount of choice are both excellent. We ate on the ground floor and it’s lovely. There are fantastic deals available too. A slice of France in the UK.
