Excellent food and service. Always have a great meal. Service is always top notch. I recommend Coronado mexican kitchen to all my friends and I take anyone that visits me there too. Best mexican food ever.

What a gem! Met our friends there and had a wonderful time. The waitress was very friendly and offered her likes and they were indeed fabulous! Food came out quickly and was delicious!

We ask for water or refill of drinks all night and got nothing. Very disappointed since we are so close to the restaurant.

We go to Coronado every couple weeks. One of the best mexican choices that we have found in So. Elgin area. Great tableside guacamole. Service is quick and accurate. Lots of menu choices!!

Service was outstanding, drinks were very special different from other restaurants. Appetizers and shrimp tacos were delicious. Very large shrimp and perfect sauce.

Our waiter was not good- never brought water for the table until specifically asked and didn’t check in and refill drinks or chips. Didn’t know drink menu well and only checked in when asked. The wait for the food was very long and then one of the dishes was wrong when they came out. Food wasn’t bad, but wasn’t fantastic either. Generous portions though.

Well this place went downhill real fast! They have changed over the staff and they changed their portions. They got two of our orders wrong . They were not attentive . Food is starting to be more American Mexican then Mexican. Sad as it used to be a good place and they are never busy. I might give this place another go but will be looking for another Mexican place if they don’t improve.
