Reservations are available 120 days in advance.
The return time for your table is 2 hours.

In the event that the booking is not honoured in whole or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, a fee of £85 per person will be charged to the credit/debit card provided. The same fee will be charged in case of non-arrival.

The tasting menu is £85 per person and is available for lunch and dinner Tuesday-Saturday. The Classic Wine Pairing is available to complement the Chef Selection, at £80 per person. The Premium Wine Pairing is £160 per person.

We currently take bookings only up to 6 people.
For bookings larger than 4 guests we require you to order from our Tasting Menu.

If you are celebrating a special occasion or have any dietary restrictions, please let us know at least 24 hours prior to the booking and we will try our best to accommodate your requests.

In my opinion, currently the best restaurant in London. Brilliant creative food from chef Tom Brown. Highlights include the crumpet with crab rarebit and the best mackerel pate I’ve ever had

All my family follow Tom on Instagram and have been looking forward to tasting his skills. It was worth waiting for, a memorable tasting menu that just kept coming. Difficult to pick a winner as all were fabulous, even down to the delicious dark sourdough bread. Staff were lovely and I liked the feel of the space. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Alan Tate

Fantastic food especially the special of bonito. Thoroughly enjoyed the tasting menu where every dish was faultless. Only thing that could have improved experience was if Chef Tom Brown had been there!

It's not often that a restaurant meets all of your expectations, especially when they are so high, but Cornerstone succeeded in meeting in every single one of them. Sublime food and delightful staff.

The overall experience we nothing short of fantastic. Quality of food was superb and very inventive. The service was knowledgable and attentive without being intrusive. Wine recommendations were very good and reasonably priced. Would have no hesitation recommending Cornerstone to friends and look forward to going again ourselves sometime soon.

An amazing experience. Smoked oysters to die for, the sweetest scallops, and an amazing grey mullet tartare were standouts. Lovely friendly staff and it was great to watch the kitchen in action. Definitely a place to return to

If you like fish this is a fabulous restaurant. We had seafood cooked in ways I haven't had before, in a good way! Sometimes experimentation doesn't pay off, in this case it definitely worked. The restaurant is small, the service was friendly and attentive. Definitely one of my favourites.

My second visit to Cornerstone and still impressive. I forgot to confirm one person was veggie and they were SO accommodating; changed the menu for them and still conjured up a fantastic menu for them as well as the original for us. I cannot praise them enough. A gem in the rough of Hackney!

One of the best meals I’ve had in London. The food was exquisite, we didn’t do the tasting menu but chose a number of dishes from the menu - the staff were really helpful with making recommendations for the dishes and wine. The mackerel pate, cured gurnard, smoked cod roe and plaice were all highlights. Ambiance was great - as so many restaurants have now, there are concrete walls and floors but surprisingly the noise level was okay. Loved being able to see into the kitchen and watch the chefs at work. Only small downside was the scallops - £19 for two scallops, while delicious, seemed rather steep compared to the other dishes and their sizes. Overall it was an excellent night and would highly recommend a visit. Thanks to Tom and the team!

Incredible food, poor service, felt so rushed. Plates came out to quick couldn’t enjoy the evening. It felt like they wanted us out as soon as possible, not relaxing at all.

Superb dining experience all round. The stripped back yet stylish interior quite rightly puts the food front and center. Went for the tasting menu, which did not disappoint, each dish a total joy whilst the wine list was excellent. Staff were also fab, getting the balance just right between being present and gratefully inconspicuous. We will be back.

Forgot to let the restaurant know my partner was vegetarian. Staff were super accommodating (Aussie waiter whose name we didn’t catch unfortunately was fantastic!) and chef Tom Brown made us three absolutely brilliant veggie plates to go along with what I ordered. Honestly could not say enough great things about our evening! Can’t wait to go back.

The food did not disappoint it was fantastic! especially the crab crumpet, plaice in roast chicken butter sauce and the mackerel pate with the treacle bread. We had the tasting menu and the portions were more than enough we were all happily full at the end of the meal. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Impeccable food and service as per usual. Feel the price / quality ratio has dipped slightly, but it’s hard to begrudge them it in a way, as they’ve worked hard to get where they are. I would recommend a few tweaks to the wine list to improve the value for money. That said, I’m being super picky (fraid that’s just me!) - the pollock with katsu curry sauce and crispy potatoes is one of the best things I’ve eaten all year. The new incarnation of the crumpet made me forget I was sad they took the shrimp one away. The strawberry merengue and peach Melba desserts were epic. The Italian waitress who looked after us was charming, friendly and proficient. The restaurant is fabulously well lit - it’s a really welcoming room. Net net - I guess I was just a little taken aback at dropping over 120pp on lunch in hackney!

Having seen Tom Brown on GBM on a number of occasions we were very keen to try his new restaurant. Well we were not disappointed - great vibe and feel to the place, interesting wine list and most importantly incredible food. Uncomplicated looking but unbelievably tasty food - the cured brill with tomatoes and sauce vierge and the plaice in chicken butter sauce were just outstanding and our personal favourites but it was all amazing. We can't wait to go back !

Considering the meal for two cost nearly £200, i founding everything lacking. I needed a wow factor, I couldn’t say there was one dish where I didn’t want it to end and several I didn’t want to finish. The best thing about the evening was our very friendly and knowledgeable waitress. There is only one gents and ladies bathroom for the whole restaurant which leaves you waiting conspicuously outside when busy. It felt very much like a canteen and I wish all the staff could’ve looked happier

Excellent food & very friendly service. There's a minimal amount of carbs on the menu, meaning you get through quite a few dishes of incredibly delicate and refined fish dishes and the costs stack up. That said, it's well worth it. Highlights for me when I visited were the monkfish tartare and crab crumpet. Short wine menu, but what I had was very good.

I was SO excited to come to cornerstone, having booked months in advance, so perhaps the meal was bound to not live up to expectations. Whilst it was a memorable meal in a lovely setting with attentive service it wasn’t out of this world like I was expecting. If you are looking for a innovative meal centred on fish look go further - the puddings were AMAZING
