We were seated in a nice window booth promptly and our server, Lydia, was very personable. We ordered Empress gin and Tito’s vodka on the rocks, a house salad, chicken enchiladas and beef short rib. The drinks were served promptly and our meal followed almost immediately…both salad and entrees. We started our entrees right away and were surprised they were just lukewarm. They tasted fine, but were nearly cold upon being served. Our salad was very large, but tasted more like cafeteria food and had no flavor. The biggest surprise was the bill, as our drinks were $22 and $19 respectively. I will not return to Corner for dinner!

Took mom for mother’s day. Host staff couldn’t bother a smile and were not at all welcoming. Had to chase down a coffee refill. Not very impressive.

We all enjoyed our meals. Beautiful ambience, nice place for a large group/special occasion (we observed several other groups there celebrating graduation). Discounted garage parking was a plus because parking is otherwise very tricky in that area.

Started off strong and food was solid, but waitress disappeared after initial order. Had to bus our own table after dirty plates sat for 20+ minutes. Some of the worst service we’ve had in Austin and other servers had to cover our table because ours could not be found. Multiple orders forgotten so eventually just gave up and got the check. Came here for a celebration with family from out of town and was extremely disappointed.

Delicious comfort food. We had the shrimp and grits dish, and the braised short ribs dish as well. Both very good. The house salad is very good and can easily be shared. We also got the Elote corn. Very good as well. Fun lively ambiance.

Flatiron steak was highly praised by the cattleman I dined with and that is rare praise indeed! I had the highly recommended red snapper and mine was overcooked and dry. The top had such a hard crust on it I couldn’t break it apart with a fork - I had to use a knife to cut my FISH. Seemed like it had been reheated too long. Drinks were trendy and great! Loved the special which was like an Old Fashioned but with rum. Excellent. Don’t know about dessert because we weren’t offered any.

The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't inspired. The primary reasons for the 'meh' review were that for a business lunch it was way too noisy and the tables were too closely spaced to allow for any reasonable conversation. The server was attentive, but clearly believed that whatever sentence you were in the middle of when she walked up to take your order didn't even merit an interruption apology. I watched this happen with every customer; it wasn't just us. Interrupting is reasonable if you've clearly been standing waiting to interrupt for at least 3-4 seconds, and with a short (excuse me) preface, but this was rude for a place catering to professionals. Three low-end lunch entrees, without drinks or desserts, and the tab was over $100. I won't bring another client.

On very busy lunches our large open restaurant does fill up quickly and the volume can be louder than ideal for guests wanting a quieter lunch experience, so I do apologize. Erin was an amazing server, she was so attentive and provided excellent recommendations. The ceviche was so delicious and so were the shrimp and grits. Hubby enjoyed his wagu beef taquitos and brisket tacos. The atmosphere was wonderful and the seats at our booth so comfy. Thank you for an awesome meal!

The hostess appeared miffed we asked to be seated at the window. The table where we were seated had food all over the seats and floor. The server was nice and attentive. The salmon was decent. The chicken sandwich was edible except for the chicken.

The menu said the home made biscuits came with local jam. False. They came with a jar of commercially made jam you can find anywhere. The waiter was clueless and inattentive, like it was her first day. Will not return.

Great experience sitting outside at Corner. We had the shrimp tacos and they were amazing! Our server was prompt and friendly. It's pretty loud at the outside bar (loud music and TV) but we were seated far enough away to have a very pleasant experience.

Came for brunch on a Saturday. Menu for early was a little limited for breakfast options, however everyone can find something. You should plan to spend 40-50 per person.

Service was great and food orders were prompt. Our server was attentive. Other staff seemed friendly too. The location is in a very accessible section of Austin, close to several parking garages and lots.

We took our daughter out to brunch for her 14th birthday. It was a terrific experience. The food and service were excellent.

Second time coming here in less than three weeks. Food and service is excellent. They definitely know what they’re doing. Don’t skip on the biscuits.
