Acclaimed Sicilian Chef Accursio Lota serves up authentic cuisine in a cozy 60's-style Italian trattoria. Voted San Diego's Best Chef five years in a row, and Barilla’s World Pasta Champion, at Cori Trattoria Chef Lota serves up beautifully bold dishes like Agnolotti with Spring Peas and Beef Bone Marrow, and an unbelievably rich Vegan Parmigiana di Melanzane. The menu melds the flavors of Sicily and Italy with the best of fresh, locally-sourced Southern California ingredients, and is matched by a curated wine list and cocktail program that include indigenous, bio-dynamic varietals from all Italy.

The current Spring menu features dishes like Agnolotti with Spring Peas, fava bean, and beef bone marrow, and Cacio e Pepe with sustainably-sourced Petrovich caviar.

Enjoy full-service table seating, grab a place at the marble-topped bar, from which you can watch all the action of your meal being prepared in the open kitchen or just order your meal to enjoy at home with your family.

    Cori Trattoria is proud to propose the beauty and allure of Italian cuisine. In this experience, Chef Accursio Lota will offer his unique vision of authentic Italian cuisine. A culinary journey inspired by Sicily, featuring the most representative dishes from our seasonal menu. Our five-course tasting menu is available for $75++ a person. (Optional wine pairing available) (Booking of the experience is required Friday and Saturday)

    We were warmly greeted. We were allowed time to go over the menu, talk a little and then ordered. Our food was YUMMY! Everything and at every level was perfect! Bravo to the chef and staff!

    Delicious pasta! Great wine. Good aperitivo. I would come back again but the parking was ridiculous.

    My family and I had an amazing experience at Cori for Mother’s Day. From the moment we were greeted, until the end of the meal, everything was absolutely world-class and made you feel at home. When we sat down, we were presented with welcoming glasses of champagne, and the kids got a really great lemonade. Our server, Ben, was very attentive and helpful. The wine list was great and my Negroni was made to perfection. The focaccia and Bufala Appetizers let us know that we were in for an amazing meal. All of the main courses we had from the scallops and risotto to the kids Bucatini and meatballs were outstanding. For dessert, we had the tiramisu and most importantly the chefs special Ruota. Wow! I would come back just for this special dessert from his hometown. Overall, you have to check this place out whether it be for a week night dinner or a special occasion, it hits all the right spots!

    Made reservations for my husband’s birthday, we had fantastic service by our server Bridgette who made our evening enjoyable and offered great service 🌟! Food was authentic and wonderful. Highly recommend 🥂.

    Really great intimate restaurant, everything was solid including atmosphere, food and service. I would go back. Good for a date.

    Great date night! The wine tasting dinner was interesting and the food and service were wonderful. The chef accomodated my garlic allergy even with the pre-set menu! We will definitely go back!

    We sat outside for their monthly wine dinner. The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive. This was my 2nd time dining there and it's just a wonderful, neighborhood, dinner spot that's not pretentious and is a great value.
