Core 450 is an instagrammable destination, to delight all the senses, from breathtaking views to our expansive outdoor patio complete with a full-service open kitchen just north of Travelers Rest, South Carolina.

The restaurant led by owners Matthew and Renee Jennings and Chef Gene Magliaro serves refined, rustic cuisine, innovative libations, and a world class wine list. Known as a “must visit” among the Upstate’s dining scene, Core 450’s professional and passionate team are constantly striving to push the boundaries of excellence with well-rounded menus that feature classic dishes and drinks with contemporary twists rooted in tradition.

Great restaurant next to the golf course. The food was great and if you get steak they bring out a hot block of salt to sear your steak as you eat. Pretty cool experience. There’s also an outdoor patio with a bar if you want to hang out there.

Wonderful dinner with friends we had not seen in 40 years. 4 different entrees ordered and all were great.

Dined with 4 friends and everyone's entree choice was spot on. Service was great and we had an enjoyable girls night out!

We had an outstanding experience at Core 450. This was our 4th time visiting and we tried the chefs board. It was absolutely incredible. It came with a tomahawk steak scallops and sea bass along with a ton of sides. It was more than enough for 3 people and truly wonderful. Our service was amazing. We have had the same waitress Kaelyn almost every time and she is so amazing. High quality food and high quality service. I highly recommend Core 450.

It was an excellent location; the food and drinks were great. We will go back but try different dinner options.

My NY strip im sure was frozen not fresh. Asked for medium rare, received MEDIUM at best. Absolutely NOT worth the money

Our meal here was absolutely a joke. 4 brioche buns with olive oil … $8. Angel hair pasta with chicken breaded like a chicken tender and a lemon … $28?!?! My husband ordered his NY Strip medium rare and it came well done - no pink. They “made it up” by giving us a porter house with extreme fat (still considered medium). Mind you, by the time his steak finally came out, my finished meal was already in a box. That plus fries and a beer was $115 before we tipped. For a casual dinner spot and a server who couldn’t remember our order and had to come back to ask again what we placed with her just a few moments before, absolutely would NEVER recommend and would never come back. Their website states “instagrammable worthy” maybe more along the lines of “overpriced and 1 star worthy”.

Delicious food and great views. The drinks were great especially the spicy margarita. Recommend the pizzas and meatballs!

Our meal was great. I thought the menu offered a good variety of options. The oysters Rockefeller were a unique take on the dish that has great flavor. My braised short rib was perfectly prepared and fell off the bone. The homemade churro dessert was very good. We loved the outdoor seating on this evening. I am looking forward to going back. It was worth the drive from Greenville.
