Cordo is derived from the geographical word Cordillera; the parallel mountain ranges together with intervening plateaus. Cordo looks to celebrate our unique and beautiful region and the bounty it offers through fresh ingredients from local farmers and ranchers. Our kitchen is dedicated to creating an unforgettable dining experience with the freshest ingredients and detailed execution of the Executive Chef’s vision.

The Bar Program at Cordo is an experience of BC. A wide selection of BC Liquors is the foundation for creating our signature cocktails using fresh juice from BC fruit and vegetables accented by herbs from our in-house herb garden. House-made syrups from local BC products with a touch of house made bitters will be the accent that creates a unique cocktail experience. The beer and wine offerings will be of local craftsman displaying the true talent and expertise in Kamloops and surround B.C. regions.

                                                                    Went for their Mother's Day Brunch Buffet and both Mum and I enjoyed it greatly. A few of the dishes weren't quite on, but the others were fabulous enough to make up for it. There were so many options on the buffet that we couldn't even sample everything because it was too much for 1 plate and we were both fairly stuffed after that (I couldn't finish my main plate and neither of us was able to finish dessert, though it was amazing). Our server was wonderful and attentive, and the atmosphere was lovely in general and made especially so by the photo booth, roses, and the complimentary drinks that were part of the cost.

                                                                    Went to Cordo for Mother’s Day Brunch… staff were all friendly and attentive. Food was excellent, hot, and delicious. Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back. Thank you for making our day special Cordo team!

                                                                    Went for mother’s day. Music was a bit loud but they adjusted when we ask. Also for a buffet cost was a little on the high side. That said for was good (not just for a buffet but generally), service was terrific, and we would absolutely go again.

                                                                    While the food was excellent the service was extremely slow. It also felt like we were sitting in the middle of the hotel lobby because there really is no barrier between the restaurant and the hotel lobby.

                                                                    We have been going to Cordo since it was Blue Lounge, same chef, approximately every other week until a year ago when the menu changed, the prices increased and the food quality was not to prior standards. We have been three times since last May, and each time was a disappointment. Last night was the worst. The spaghetti dish was tasteless and overpriced at $32 for the serving, and the fish and chips is one piece of sole whereas in the past it has been a better quality of fish (cod/salmon). Service has always been excellent, with a special shoutout to Tristan, Montana, and Heather. For a Saturday night, the restaurant was not at the capacity it has been in the past. We like to support local, but we won't be returning.
