Have eaten there many times, was recommended by a friend who worked at the UN. The Mushroom Truffle Risotto is a solid winner. Asked for a Non Alcohol beer and they have Athletic IPA which is one of the best.

Mixed review here as some aspects were good, but others just ok: Positives: Restaurant is very bright and inviting. Just a lovely environment. Service was good. Negatives: Although the restaurant was not busy at all, they crammed everyone in a small section. I get that it is easier for service, but it just felt off. Food was just ok. We ordered the Smoked Salmon Toast, Copinette Omelet and French Toast. The toast was $24 for a medium piece of toast with avocado, smoked salmon, onions, grapefruit, capers and creme sauce served with a side salad. I thought there wasn't much food for the price but that is NYC. The omelet was bland and overcooked. The best thing was the French toast and it was soggy. My daughter is moving to the area, so I might give it another shot, but I have had much better brunch in the City.

Previous experiences were good but yesterday both my friend and I ordered the ribeye special. We found the steak too dry and tasteless. A marinade might have been better than using Gorgonzola on top.

Had lunch there - fried calamari to start, then one burger and one Niçoise salad. Calamari batter was pretty bready and they were overcooked - the marinara sauce was nice and light though. Burger and fries was juicy and very good, dressing for salad was very nice and light - the tuna was definitely frozen and not great quality. Tables along the wall are very crowded - every time someone got up or sat down, we all had to shift our seating- restaurant could easily reorganize the seating.

The food was excellent and the service very good. The restaurant was full and the noise level was so high that my friend and I could barely hear each other speak. We were shouting and repeating -- not a pleasant experience. Neither of us has hearing problems. I realize that some people enjoy very noisy restaurants, but if I had known the noise level of this restaurant I would have selected a different place. I might return if I could sit outside.
