This was the worst experience we have ever had at any if the Coopers Hawks we have visited .… we have been wine club members since 2011 and this by far was the worst and we have been to St Charles many many times…we were seated for a 2:30 time half the dining area was empty and we we seated right next to another group and then a large group of maybe 8 or 10 people we sat right behind us …Really there were at 12 empty tables right next to us … The server never offered us any bread (that was truly a first) we had to ask for it … Just to state a few concerns …had this been our first visit to Coopers Hawk - I don’t believe we would return anytime soon…

My son and I go to dinner every Thursday and this week we chose Coopers Hawk. The ladies at the hostess stand were very polite and chatted with my son who was excited to show them his Pokémon toy. We were seated at our table and promptly greeted by our server, James K. He was super nice and attentive. Our food came out timely and he came around often to check in. We had a great experience!

I placed a reservation on Open Table for a bar seat because it is less noisy in the bar than the open seating restaurant. Upon arriving we were not seated in the bar but rather in the open seating area. While there were plenty of open seats, the hostess sat us next to a loud table of eight and in the midst of all the diners in the restaurant. Unless there is a very good reason, I don't see why all diners need to be placed in tables next to each other when there are plenty of open tables to allow the diners to be spread out. We waited about 5 minutes for a waitress only to be told she'd be right with us, needless to say, we waited another 10 to 15 minutes to see the waitress again. We ordered two glasses of wine using our tasting and glasses of water. While waiting for dinner and then eating I finished my water, but no one ever came and asked if I wanted a refill so I had to drink my wife's water! We had (still have) a $15 reward that I wanted used but it wasn't applied to the bill even though the waitress knew we had the reward (she told us about it). We waited another 15 minutes for the waitress to return so she could update the bill but she never did. We ended up just paying the bill using member signature without receiving the reward.

The food was excellent, as was our waiter. Very friendly and efficient. The restaurant itself was nice and clean but very, very cold inside. Made the dining experience somewhat less than excellent.

It just wasn’t as good as in the past! Service was really Really Slow!! When our waitress finally came over things got better but it seems weird that we had to sit there in a wine bar to wait twenty minutes to get a drink!
