Had a great night out to celebrate my wife’s retirement. Always treated special at Coopers Hawk but they gave us each a complimentary flute of champagne to toast to our next chapter. Really appreciated that.

The issue with this location is the lack of tasting spots. It’s a party bar, not a tasting room. Wine is fantastic and food is above the norm. They’ll sell you a membership but for the 2nd time in our last three visits, can’t use our tastings.

We enjoyed our visit but noticed that over the last few months, the noise level is becoming almost over bearing. At times it felt we were eating at a sports event with having to yell to be heard. I've noticed that several other comments mention the noise also. Wish you could correct this, but it appear s to be out of your control. The average age appears to be around 30-35......an age that people apparently want to be heard. If this continues you have lost a loyal customer.

Very enjoyable evening of wine tasting, socializing and having a wonderful dinner with my girlfriend of three months. Even was introduced to the Coopers Hawk Regional manager from Chicago while enjoying our wine tasting. Such a nice experience. We will definitely be pack.

Went for Mother’s Day, a lot of the silverware on the table was dirty but our waitress handled it promptly. Service was good considering how busy it was. The server seemed antsy at times but was still attentive.everyone was very happy with their food. One of our guest was drinking beer and both beers were forgotten lol. The waitress was very apologetic both times so while we had a great time it was just lacking the usually no worry experience during a busy lunch hour.

Full disclosure this was Saturday before Mothers day. It was very busy. Service started out great, but over time it got bad with waiting times. I could also tell there was not a lot of employees working as wait staff that evening. They were definitely understaffed. In fact, I saw our server having to clean off her tables and set up a new table for the next people coming in. I was more agitated at the end because it was taking forever to get our check. The last 30 minutes, we sat at the table and never saw her. I don’t think that is on the waitress and I think it is more on the business because they oversold tables with what staff they have. I still tipped accordingly because its not her fault. I watched as she had tables all over the restaurant. I feel like that goes back on the management. Even if you are shortstaffed for the evening, then do not sell the reservations. That is something we can go back-and-forth on, but in my opinion, as a customer if you know, you do not have the staff to cover it, then you need to stop the reservations to help out your staff and to help out the customers. Food. I got the medallions and they were cooked absolutely perfect. I ordered them medium rare and they came out medium rare. She ordered spaghetti and meatballs, and the spaghetti was not edible because it was too hard. I understand cooking from scratch is difficult, and I appreciate the restaurants initiative to not cook things from a box. But this is spaghetti, and the spaghetti was hard. it would not even wrap around the fork or spoon if you tried to swirl it. Whoever cooked that, knew it was not ready, but they sent it out anyway. So I’m conflicted on the food, because the medallions were cooked absolutely perfect, but for some reason, they could not get a simple thing like spaghetti noodles out at a decent tenderness. Those spaghetti noodles probably only cooked for three or four minutes at best. Her entire dish was ruined because of that.

I want to start this off by saying our waitress was wonderful and really turned the overall experience around. When my husband and I got to Cooper’s Hawk, we had a reservation for 9:15. When we came in, it was 9:05. I simply went up to the hostess stand just to let her know we were in the building. When I approached, she didn’t acknowledge me and when she did, she had an attitude. There was no greeting, it was just “do you have a reservation?!” So that made me feel a little off. I told her our reservation and told her I just wanted to check in and she goes “well it’s 10 minutes away so we’ll let you know” … okay then. So we wait 30 extra minutes (not even sure why this place has reservations - because every time we come to this specific location it’s never honored on time and we always run into this problem). Finally she seats us after that period and our waitress turned the night around. I understand things being busy (at this time of night, it was not busy) but to just not be friendly is so annoying to me. I’ve been a wine club member for years and this location disappoints every time. I only come because it’s the closest to my house. But anymore? I’ll make the drive to Kenwood or Centerville where I know things are under control.

I love the food and our bartender Zach was phenomenal however every time we go there the bar area is so cold! They need to cut the air so we don’t have to wear coats to eat!

We had a great time here celebrating our anniversary. The special crispy tuna appetizer was wonderful and beautifully plated. Our server Kay was attentive and polite. They did a great job checking on us during our dinner. I had the white wine flight and thoroughly enjoyed 3 of the 4 wines. My husband did like the wine I didn't, so it's really just a difference in preference. Overall, I'd love to return and save some room for dessert as those also looked wonderful, but we were simply too full to eat anymore.

Once again came here for a specific wine which only two days past their delivery date, they were already OUT of( of course found that out AFTER ordering the food to go with it- seems to happen at this location a lot. However the waitress Mo was wonderful and the special they are running, the Chicken Francoise was amazing. Coopers is getting to be an overpriced restaurant to eat at -while their entrees I can agree with, the appetizers are way overpriced for what you get. 17$ for a plate of Brussels sprouts LEAVES? We have stopped coming as often because they aren’t a good option anymore
