The chicken was very salty, that was all you could taste. The potato and spinach were fine. Bruschetta was very good while the desserts of brûlée (ok) and ice cream cookie dessert were good. It took too much time, even for our waitress to give us menus, the check, let alone the food and drink.

I have never been disappointed with a meal at Cooper's Hawk. And if you don't drink, they have delicious meals for under $20. My favorite is the dumplings with Asian slaw. Delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant!

First time for dinner and we’ll be back. Although it was Mother’s Day and very busy we were served in a timely manner. Our server Lexy?? was attentive making sure we had everything we needed.

We always love having dinner at Cooper’s Hawk in Grand Rapids! The bar setting is our favorite spot and the staff is excellent. We are members a highly recommend the experience!!

This restaurant was a well oiled machine for Mother’s Day! Staff members were friendly and you could tell that each person understood their role. I always enjoy Coopers Hawk, but seeing them in action on such a busy day deserves a whole lot of extra credit in my book! Well done!

My Wife has a gluten allergy and we absolutely LOVE Cooper's Hawk! The first time she saw their gluten free menu, she was in tears because it is so extensive and so amazing. She feels perfectly safe eating here. Everything is delicious!!!! The service is great, the wine is fantastic, and the ambiance is wonderful! Did I mention how great the wine is?!?!?!?!?

Mothers day late lunch was delicious. It was crazy busy as you can imagine and we still received pretty good service and excellent food! They did a great job with how hectic the restaurant was. thank you.

I have been to a few locations. I know we choose to come in on Mother’s Day’s but our service was horrible are food was not what we expect from Coopers Hawk. Our daughter was talking us to lunch for Mother’s Day the waiter didn’t say Happy Mother’s Day’s didn’t offer samples of wine and was rude. The vegan risotto was flavorless and needed to at least have salt and pepper. Our food was dropped off by someone else and the waiter didn’t check on us until I had finished my meal. My water was empty for most of my meal. I was highly disappointed.

This is the second time I’ve had the same waitress on a busy day last time was valentines and yesterday Mother’s Day and let me say this girl is amazing, outstanding, efficient on point all that!! Lexi rocks table service every time I appreciate that cause I come in to be at ease and enjoy your delicious food which BTW never disappoints whether I’m dining or taking out.

Very loud. Couldn’t carry on a conversation with the people across the table. Very violent fight (cage fight? I don’t know) on TWO of the screens above the bar. Not something I care to see when I’m dining in a restaurant. Server was very nice though. Gnocchi tasted like it was frozen meal reheated in a microwave. Two of the 4 of us got our meal a good ten minutes before the other two. Server noticed and literally ran back and retrieved the other two dishes that the food runners apparently forgot.

Ate outside on the patio and it was beautiful! There are dumpsters close by though and when the wind blew in just the right direction, we could smell it a bit. Beyond that, food, service, and value was excellent and we will definitely be coming back!

We were disappointed since 2 of the 5 of us couldn’t get what we wanted to eat because they didn’t have any more. It was 6:00 and they were out already? Kind of ridiculous!! Our server was wonderful though and made up for the disappointment.

My husband and I are frequent patrons to Cooper Hawk in another state but were traveling and stayed at a hotel next to this location in Kentwood,MI. Made reservations for 9pm for appetizers and a glass of wine. There was a large party that had just left the area we were sat in. Wine bucket on the floor with menus, napkins and trash all over with empty cake box, etc. The area was dirty to say the least. Took the wait staff an hour to clean it up and still wasn’t finished when we left. Our order of two appetizers and two glasses of wine took 45 minutes to arrive. My flatbread was the wrong item. The waitress didn’t apologize or anything. Removed my flatbread and asked the kitchen to make the correct one. My husband was finished by the time I got the correct one. It was all undercooked as I’m sure they rushed it. We couldn’t wait to leave.

The restaurant was so busy I was prepared to have less than stellar service. Busy kitchen, hot day, Saturday night, plus a Prom Night was a recipe for disaster. We were there with 6 people for my husband’s birthday, and my in-laws were already not in the best mood about the parking situation. So I was shocked when we had some of the best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Matt our server was so nice and polite. They we’re attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Every time they said “oh your food should be right out” another server was there with our meals. Everything was wonderful but major kudos to Matt for a fantastic job.

Food and service were both great ! Started with wine tasting - our server was knowledgeable about the wines and made the experience enjoyable. After a great meal we had the carrot cake dessert - it was wonderful. As usual at Cooper’s Hawk our dinner was great. And to top it off, the gentleman handling valet was quick and very friendly !!

We love going out on a date to a place where we can make a reservation so we know we don’t have to wait and they have an amazing gluten-free menu. We have a specific wine that we enjoy drinking together there and it feels like we are important by the way we are seated and served. It’s a nice chance for my wife and I to have an hour together at a place where we feel Comfortable and every server who has ever waited on us seems to be happy that we have chosen Cooper’s Hawk for that day.
