Love Cooper’s Hawk. Unfortunately they were out of multiple dishes both my friend and I wanted to order. Our back up choices were good though!

We were disappointed since 2 of the 5 of us couldn’t get what we wanted to eat because they didn’t have any more. It was 6:00 and they were out already? Kind of ridiculous!! Our server was wonderful though and made up for the disappointment.

My husband and I are frequent patrons to Cooper Hawk in another state but were traveling and stayed at a hotel next to this location in Kentwood,MI. Made reservations for 9pm for appetizers and a glass of wine. There was a large party that had just left the area we were sat in. Wine bucket on the floor with menus, napkins and trash all over with empty cake box, etc. The area was dirty to say the least. Took the wait staff an hour to clean it up and still wasn’t finished when we left. Our order of two appetizers and two glasses of wine took 45 minutes to arrive. My flatbread was the wrong item. The waitress didn’t apologize or anything. Removed my flatbread and asked the kitchen to make the correct one. My husband was finished by the time I got the correct one. It was all undercooked as I’m sure they rushed it. We couldn’t wait to leave.

The restaurant was so busy I was prepared to have less than stellar service. Busy kitchen, hot day, Saturday night, plus a Prom Night was a recipe for disaster. We were there with 6 people for my husband’s birthday, and my in-laws were already not in the best mood about the parking situation. So I was shocked when we had some of the best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Matt our server was so nice and polite. They we’re attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Every time they said “oh your food should be right out” another server was there with our meals. Everything was wonderful but major kudos to Matt for a fantastic job.

Food and service were both great ! Started with wine tasting - our server was knowledgeable about the wines and made the experience enjoyable. After a great meal we had the carrot cake dessert - it was wonderful. As usual at Cooper’s Hawk our dinner was great. And to top it off, the gentleman handling valet was quick and very friendly !!

Great server, not great food. Recommend not to go if restaurant is overly crowded. Usually have great food.
