Seated in the bar even though dining room was available. It was extremely loud by the time we left. Bruschetta was good and so were the Thai lettuce wraps and chicken piccata. Braised short rib risotto, burger, and prime rib sandwich were fair. Prime rib was mushy because waitress spilled Au jus all over the plate, and meat was tough with lots of gristle..

Food was very good for both our meals. Service is good. There were too many people praying back-and-forth employees that is past our booth, even though there were hardly any other customers at the time of our early dining they made a mathematical mistake on our check for tipping percentages by inflating it versus real, Which I caught before final payment

Ate here with my mom. We had ordered appetizers. We got the drunken shrimp and the bruschetta. Both were very good. Also we got key lime pie and chocolate cake. This allow you to take dessert to go which is a good thing. We both liked it. Will definitely be coming back.

We had a great time at the Clive Coopers Hawk. This was our first time since becoming members. The only cons that we had were that the tasting area was extremely busy and therefore we did not get to finish our tasting before our table was ready and we were told be the server that we could choose any wine with dinner and it was included in the membership, however when we received our bill there was an upcharge. Would have been nice to know this...

Went on a Sunday afternoon and did a little Sunday Funday wine tasting before a late lunch. It was a GREAT time to go and not busy! The food was phenomenal. Great cheeseburger!

Wonderful restaurant! Clean and vibrant. Our server Jess was absolutely top notch! We would return - just for her as our server! Food was wonderfu l and the wine equally to match. We even decided to join the wineclub. Maybe a little pricey for a first date, but my wife and I we celebrating our 20 year anniversary and could not have planned a better dinner location. It was our first time there but absolutely will not be the last. Definitely now in the date nite rotation. The secret is out here in Des Moines - make your reservation and go!!

My fiancé and I visited Coopers Hawk for the first time to celebrate our engagement! Our server Colleen took excellent care of us during our visit, and the food recommendations by her were appreciated! We were celebrating our 56th wedding anniversary so this was a special occasion. We were greeted warmly by everyone. Our food was EXCELLENT. Mary's Mashed Potatoes are to die for. I kept eating them from my husband's plate!! Everything was top notch and we will definitely be back.
