                                                                  Very overrated. All of our seafood dishes were very salty and dry. All guests in there were foreigners and it was not worth it for the price.

                                                                  This was not our 1st time. Had reservations at 2:30 Arrived at 1:15 and they graciously seated us! Plenty of tables! Had tuna tostadas no distinctive flavor Fish stew was nice Octopus cocktail was ok , grilled might have been better Scallop appetizer agua chile was not a great choice , texture was not a scallop I’ve had before. Whole fish impressive but not hot , Luke warm Margarita was the best I’ve recall The only real disappointment was that there was no beverage menu Have to use a bar code ! I don’t go out to eat to use my phone for menus, real put off ! We were in DF and honestly had as good or better for a better value Maybe I’ve been too many times??? I’ll take a break.

                                                                  Each visit to Contramar is always memorable and more than satisfying. Love how each person works constructively and food is just amazing! I can eat their tuna tostadas everyday if I could. Amazing service is a plus!

                                                                  El servicio fue muy bueno, la comida es rica y bien condimentada. El precio, es bastante elevado para lo que es. Si es rico pero no iría dos veces.

                                                                  Their Focus is obviously on seafood and I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the seafood dishes. Our favorite was the octopus and least favorite was the pasta pomodoro but overall high quality food. Dessert was the fig tart which my wife loved loved loved. Service was outstanding but I felt like it was too frequent with less than 5 minutes checking in between. I would dine again 4.5 stars

                                                                  Contramar’s reputation did not disappoint. 2nd time visiting. Try the mezcal drink with tamarindo, scallop and ahi tostadas, grilled octopus, al pastor tacos and the whole fish contramar style. Everything excellent. Sat outside both times there so can’t speak for the noise or ambiance inside. No complaints on service, Hugo was kind and patient, very attentive.
